A common-sense guide to living rich—instead of dying rich

Imagine if by the time you died, you did everything you were told to. You worked hard, saved your money, and looked forward to financial freedom when you retired.

The only thing you wasted along the way was—your life.

Die with Zero presents a startling new and provocative philosophy as well as practical guide on how to get the most out of your money—and out of your life. It's intended for those who place lifelong memorable experiences far ahead of simply making and accumulating money for one's so-called Golden Years.

In short, Bill Perkins wants to rescue you from over-saving and under-living. Regardless of your age, Die with Zero will teach you Perkins' plan for optimizing your life, stage by stage, so you're fully engaged and enjoying what you've worked and saved for.

You'll discover how to maximize your lifetime memorable moments with experience bucketing, how to convert your earnings into priceless memories by following your net worth curve, and find out how to navigate whether to invest in, or delay, a meaningful adventure based on your spend curve and personal interest rate.

Using his own life experiences as well as the inspiring stories and cautionary tales of others—and drawing on eye-opening insights about time, money, and happiness from psychological science and behavioral finance—Perkins makes a timely, convincing, and contrarian case for living large.

Different perspective

Bills wisdom came at the perfect time for me. I'm one of the older successful folks who was at the fork in the road between dying with alot of money or taking the other path. Bills book illuminated the other path and added clarity. thanks!

Must read for anyone, wanting to maximize their life’s experiences!

I was skeptical when I first saw the title of this book. It came recommended by couple of my colleagues. So I was skeptical at first. Once I started, I couldn’t put the audiobook down. Great content! Totally changed the way I view, work, and life events! Must read for everyone!

Wonderful, life changing!

My name is Tamir and I’m a self help author myself, writing the top seller book “The Lazy Investor” (#1 seller in Israel). This book gave me so much to think about my life and my choices - especially in my “real golden years” (read it to understand it).
Super recommended!

A fresh perspective on “life is all about balance”

The concept that life is all about experiences isn’t new. However, taking that idea one step further, by stating that experiences have a specific season and time to be enjoyed is unique.

A Paradigm Shift From The Status Quo

I liked the authors’s perspective on the way most of us have been taught on saving for a rainy day theory. It gave me a better perspective on not waiting to create memorable experiences before its too late. Life is short and those of us with a million plus nest egg are likely to leave money on the table at the end. Enjoy your life worry less about money and you will be fine. We are better off than we think. This is a definite paradigm shift from the save till it hurts mindset. After all what good is it to have accumulated all tgatxwealth and not enjoy any of it. It makes perfect sense to me.
