Great book. Terrible narration.

I bet they used AI to grab the audio words from his podcast. There's no way he recorded the book like this. Still, it's a great book. Great info. highly recommend.

this man is simply a genius

He is a genious although guilty through association. The man uses a team of doctors to proof read and utilizes some of the most simple ideologys in a transformative, science based evident way. Congrats to Mike on being the most clear and honest man in the fitness realm today ajd for setting the bar so high it has transformed the industry. Hands down the best book for men wanting to get a clean, lean, strong and all natural look. Cannot say enough.

Great listen for beginners

This is a great resource for gym newbies who may not be able to invest into 1:1 coaching.

Mike does a fantastic job breaking down all of the important areas a new person should know & understand.

If you listen to this, Mike will set you up for long term success in the gym, & kitchen… I also highly recommend his book that is solely on nutrition & meal prepping.

The book was good. Especially the first two thirds.

The book was good, especially the first two thirds. The last third he started talking about his line of supplements, his app, his personal training program, felt a little like a sales pitch.

The narration was difficult to listen to. He did the William shatter on Star Trek pause the entire time. Also, my daughters thought it was a robot not a human when they overheard me listening to the book.

Excellent book very informative and life changing!

What did you love best about Bigger Leaner Stronger?

I loved how Mike gets down to the nitty gritty details of each topic, He leaves no space to be confused if a question arises he automatically goes into explaining the fundamentals.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bigger Leaner Stronger?

At the end when it came to a full workout plans for the first two months and the 1 year bonus report i jumped out of my seat. With the info he gives you on diet and training he completes it with an actual workout plan, from which workout to how many reps its fantastic.

Great!!!

Been working out for 10 years and I still learned many things I didn't know about exercise health food and supplements. I recommend this book to anybody that has been exercising for a while or is a beginner

Educational, good science

This book can be a bit intimidating since most fitness people just provide a program and don't truly educate, but it's worth it. It gives you the tools to make adjustments, make your own workout plans, meal plans, etc. I'm a huge fan of Mike Matthews, keep up the work!

Get a narrator or read the book

There is nothing NEW in this book. It is the information we all know, put together well.

He does use some references, but also many anecdotal stories as evidence and opinions. He overloads on references at the beginning so you either trust he has done the research or don’t want to hear all the references later. To be clear, I believe his information is at least mostly correct.

The only thing really bad about this book is his reading of it. I swear he said all the words and then had a “text to speech” thing go through the book. It is terrible. It is hard to listen to. Probably the nicest best person to have a chat with, but should not narrate his own book.

Amazing content and very useful information. Way exceeded my expectations.
