Such a great book in Getting Strong and healthy

I was a certified personal trainer when I was in Hight and at the start of college. I was fortunate enough to learn the wrong and right ways, but it was a long journey and didn't come to my attention until I quit one of the largest gyms in the nation. I wish I had this book at the start. Now I'm back into it and believe in Michael's movement to do the right thing for people's health.

Very detailed and informative

Content: the writer did a very good job and you can tell many hours of research and trial and error went into making this book and program.

Narrator: And the narrator was phenomenal I always preview a book before reading because the narrator can decide whether I can make it through or not this narrator did an awesome job has perfect enunciation and was not boring at all considering this is an informative nonfiction book.

enjoyed the knowledge of this book

Really enjoyed this book. I just recently went through a weight loss transformation on losing 60lbs.. I was 217lbs and today I am 157lbs. my height is ,5'6 so you can imagine how big I was. I been lifting recently for about 3 months with really no guidance except YouTube videos and searching the net which helped, however listening to this book clarified so much for me and I am now much more confident and already implemented a new workout routine last week. Thanks Mike!

No BS program that works

I've been working out basically my whole life and have always been in decent shape. For the amount of time I spent working out I always thought that I should have seen better results. Well this book breaks it down and explains why. It's a no nonsense guide to proper training and nutrition that is backed by science and data. I've listened to this audiobook twice now and I'm implementing the program and beginning to see the transformation. This book is for beginners and advanced weight lifters alike. Great read and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to put on lean muscle.

Really good but not Perfect

It answers so many of the questions you have in mind but there are so many of other interesting subjects which he refers to his "Bonus report" which is not included in this book.
Why he does this? Marketing benefits out of this book.

Life changer!

Tons of information! Easy to understand and apply. I would also like to compliment the narrator. I also ordered the Shredded Chef and the wife and LOVE IT!

Fantastic no BS fitness bible

This was a breath of fresh air to read. Mike clarifies a lot information for us especially with regards to the supplement industry and food nutrition both of which can be daunting when starting out. I would highly recommend this book, if you were to have only one book on fitness this is the one. Cheers,

Very informational

This book is full with scientific analysis of the many aspects of getting strong/lean. Overall, a good listen, though I disagree with most of the carb based nutritional advice. I've used atkins and ketosis many times for improving health and losing unwanted weight. Otherwise, good stuff.

One of the best listens ever.

I loved the cut the bull crap attitude of this book. The scientifical backing up by evidence as well. The narrator was spectacular
