Just when I thought it was over...
When this book ended I thought it was the end of the series.
I am pleasantly surprised that there is a book 4 that just came out.
So Cal has got 3 princesses and a goddess guiding him. What's he going to do.
Are there still Vrag to eliminate?
I can't wait to find out.

Now this was good!
I think this was the best episode so far. There was travel to a new place which means new enemies, new frustrations, new sexy-time partners and great fight scenes. Let's not forget a ride on a Gryffin...that's always worth a mention. This was definitely my favorite of the series.
Also, the narration has gotten better.

Worth a try
My initial gripe with this series, specifically book 1 was Marcus Jahn's performance, it shaded my opinion on the book. However, a friend convinced me to give book 2 a chance and by book 3 his performance has improved dramatically compared to the first book. I'm glad I gave it a chance.

I recommend this series
I really have enjoyed the story thus far. I think the narration team has done a fantastic job. As of the time of this review the 4th book is already out in eBook form titled The Sun Throne. If you can't wait for the audio treatment, but still want someone to read it to you then I suggest checking out Alexa. Full disclosure every once in a while, she goes British or mess us up a word but for the most part it's a relatively easy fix for somebody wanting more of the story but may not have the time outside of the tedium of particular parts of a day to enjoy a story for entertainment. Well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this book to us the audible listeners.
