Publisher's summary

Dolan versus Everett. Snarky meets stoic.

Dolan Masters loathes many things: root canals, splinters in his fingers, and people putting toilet paper on the roll wrong - loose end over the top, please. But the one thing he hates more than anything else is Everett freaking Henson.

Everett Henson spends more time with animals than people, his best friend, Eli, being the exception. The downside of that friendship means crossing paths with Dolan Masters; the man who rubs Everett wrong in every way possible.

But a baby changes everything.

With both men believing they deserve the honor of being the godfather to their best friend's baby, the only way to settle things is through a competition. Will there be bloodshed, or will these two realize the truth staring them in the face?

May the best godfather win.

Good story. Good narration.

This book is a good read/listen if you are looking for a sweet enemies to lovers romance with adorable dogs. I adored the dogs. The people were okay too.

The performance by both narrators was well done, and they complemented each other nicely.

cute and funny

the story was very charming. There was lots of laughs out loud and secret smile moments. John solo is a great narrator and Kirk is an ok narrator Together they were alright but I don't think they should be paired together in future books.

the snark

this story was so fun to read and listen to. when forced proximity enemies, born from a misunderstanding combined with meddling but well-meaning best friends, pregnancy hormones, and a "friendly" competition, sparks ignite. oh and we can't forget the pets. I LOVED this story.
Brittany Cournover is a new to me author. I chose this book because John Solo and Kirt Graves are in my top 5 narrators. both of them together, amazing.

Great narration. Story was light and funny. Was a good escape/non serious palate cleanser.

1 out of 5

The plot was corny and the narrorator was horrible. I would not recommend wasting money or credit on this! The reviews were misleading on this one.
