Publisher's summary

A heart-pounding crime thriller with a stunning twist–you will be hooked from the very start!

They sold her little sister. Now they'll pay.

At seven years old, the girl known only as "Zero" was locked away in an Idaho dungeon. Her torments didn't end for nine years, until she broke free and executed her captors.

But her vengeance couldn't end there.

When Zero was locked away, she had a little sister, Hope. She never saw her again, but she's been searching ever since.

Now she may finally be getting close. In the underground drug and club scene, there's a man "breaking" girls with a hammer and nails. But something is different this time. This man is tied to something bigger. This man may be the key to setting Hope free….

Zero just has to break him first.

Live by the hammer, die by the nail.

Girl Zero is the heart-stopping new thriller from Mike Grist, perfect for fans of Jeffery Deaver, Karin Slaughter, David Baldacci, or Dean Koontz.

Great book!

Another excellent book from Mike Grist! A thrilling, action packed story that draws the reader (or listener) in & makes the heart race. A story not for the faint of heart but definitely worth reading! I look forward to the next in the series! The narrator also did a wonderful job & I hope to hear more of her in the future!

Great & action packed.

Just enough info on the victims but not too much. Great info on taking care of the bad guys.

A different kind of love story.

Action packed story of an abused child's efforts to save her little sister. Lots of cool "toys" thanks to her new friends.

Good Concept, Over the Top Superhero Execution

The premise of the book is interesting and the main character starts out believable; however, "Zero" quickly becomes this Marvel Movie knife wielding, super cyber-hacker, with the HAL9000 super-computer doing play - by - play in her ear.

I managed to make it through, but wish I had a few of those hours back.

Brittany Pressley as narrator is great as usual. She's done so many great books, I would enjoy meeting her someday.
