Publisher's summary

She was the nanny. He was the boss. They both knew things would end badly.

Five minutes after walking through the door, I hated the sexy Greydon West. I wondered why he’d ever had kids in the first place. The broody, single father of two didn’t know the meaning of the word fun. The only things my regimented, hot-tempered boss seemed to care about were his ridiculous spreadsheets. But for some reason, his prickly, stiff-mannered disposition made me curious about what was hidden beneath that exterior. Then, one day I stumbled upon the key that unlocked the mystery of Dr. West.

That was when the sexy dreams began...the same ones that awakened me every night. And that kiss we shared...biggest mistake ever. I knew nothing good would result from it. But I couldn’t seem to stay away because I was already in too deep. I should’ve listened to those alarms in my head, but I ignored them. Which was why I found my heart about to erupt in flames, and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it.

Good natured, and sexy

This is a pretty wholesome book. I mean there’s definitely steamy and sexy scenes but the bigger picture is what it’s like to learn to love again after a massive betrayal with kids involved. For people who enjoy the extreme plot twists and fights this isn’t the book for you but if you like wholesome good natured writing that still tantalizes in the sexy department, it’s very much an awesome listen.
Personally, I like PNR best, enemy to lovers tropes and battles with bloodshed but in between the heavy I like to break it up with some light hearted literature (cleanse the palate so to speak). This book did an awesome job. The MMC is a dr who has been jaded and left to raise his kids as a single dad and the FMC is a younger woman that left her high profile journalism job after her employer asked her to do something unethical. After leaving, she is heartbroken by her fiancé and her best friend. So, both characters are learning to love again and the lengths they’re willing to go to in order to make it work. And Maryn (sp?) is so feisty she definitely gives the good doctor a run for his money! Absolutely adorable and I love this couple together!

God story but H needed to listen to h's side before going off on her

Feel H got away too easily when he hurt her and never listened to her side.
Cold not relate to rest of story.

I enjoyed it

The female narrator wasn’t great but all the rest was. Story, characters etc. I had read one book out of order not realising it was a series …yet they can be read independently.

Ashes to Flames

A beautifully sweet, intriguing, and adorable story. I enjoyed the angst, banter between these characters, and the all of the sweetness. It may have taken some time for these two to get together but it was a fun journey to get there. I liked this story.
The narrators were perfect.

good story

great story details and everything was great it's just the narration when you are reading a book it's completely different because you're creating your own voices and your head of what these characters sound like to match their personality but when you actually have a narration of the book if the voices don't really too much match the characters in the book it can take away from the story and the male and female voice did not match the characters but I put that aside and still listen to the audible and still enjoyed the story.....the female and male voice sounded OLD

Great story

Really good story however the narration kinda of sucked. The girl narrator was fine but the man just didn’t cut it for me. He sounded like The radio personality the late Paul Harvey
The picture on the front of the book is awesome, but it does not match not even a little bit to the voice

Didn’t feel like romance genre

This story had potential but there were too much focus on the children than romance. I really wanted to connect with the main characters but it came slow and by the end, I still didn’t feel it. Narrators were good. Although female voice was older than 25 years old. I gave 4 for performance because of Noah. I love his voice.

Loved it!!!

I loved this book, she just knows how to write to where it hits people’s ❤️ stings (no pun intended) because he’s a cardiologist. Lol but I’m seriously going to read ALL of her books, for sure!!!💋😘
