Shelby works as a dog walker in northern California, and she’s just finished up her bi-weekly trip to the park with a husky named Pluto. When she brings him back to his house, she finds his owner - Todd Burke, a well-known local businessman and founder of an organic supplements company - lying on the bathroom floor, dead. A detective arrives on the scene. As she interviews Shelby, the body is inspected by a medical examiner, and more cops search Todd’s home, it becomes clear that the victim’s life was less picture-perfect than his clean-cut persona might lead you to believe.

Engaging, Easy Read
The best way I can describe this book is as a mix between Breaking Bad and American Vandal. It’s fast paced and entertaining. I did bump the speed up to 1.8 because the reading was a little slow for me. Great story.

Excellent storyline!!!!
I absolutely rate this audible book a 5 star!! A prestigious boarding school, a psychopathic teacher and a host of great characters make this book one you will never forget. Hats off to this author for weaving a tale of jealously, insanity , the haves and the have nots! The characters are really brought to life and I LOVED to HATE that Teddy. The narrator did grate on my ears a bit with his voice of a few male characters, but otherwise a good listen.

Fascinating story and narrator
Good old-fashion story telling. No labels like thriller, but very Interesting, almost possible to be based on a real life story. Cleverly written and well developed characters. Although none of the characters were likable😖. Looking forward to the nest Downing and Pittu performance.

Good story but fast ending
I really enjoyed this story and the characters and the villain and all the POVs. The only thing I would change is the ending and not change it as in what happen but it’s like we got this ending that was rushed. Like the author was like crap I only have 3 pages left okay here we go then?!

Good story
I enjoyed the story and how the plot unfolded, but WTH with the ending?? It just ended so suddenly I couldn’t believe it!! A little disappointed because I think the author missed out on what could have been 2-4 awesome chapters. Otherwise I didn’t mind that we got everyone’s POV and knew what was going on. It was like watching a good juicy tv show.
