I found this book to be rather enlightening

I carefully listened to every word. Although I considered myself well informed on the topic from a submissive perspective, I learned much about HERS potentially and how I could be unintentionally be perceived as not fully accepting of HER authority. I'm hopefully entering soon into an FLR relationship. I want to give it every possible chance of success and I'm certain that this book has helped me to that end. I found the narration to be pleasant and engaging.

I went in hesitantly but I'm so glad that I did. This was a lot to process and felt like I was being called out at times but in a healthy way. Wonderfully written and wonderfully read.

An excellent resource for FLR and D/s

This is one of my favorite books I’ve found on the topic. I highly recommend it and found it extremely informative and useful even in my 6 month old relationship. Not only for married couples.

This book checks all of the boxes

In my quest to find more books on Femdom (Male sub) I came across this title and loved everything about it. It takes the FLR relationship and Dom/Sub dynamics and shows in such a well thought out way. It feels natural and more like a friendly conversation than a "Dummies Guide to (Insert Kink Here". The Last couple of sections is where the book really sold itself. Pick this up if you want a good read that won't just waste a credit.

As a husband that has been wanting to approach his wife about FLR this is a great book. All the other books I have reviewed start early talking about sex and discipline which I know will be a non-starter and have her questioning my motives. Thanks for a wonderful guide to getting started. Ordering the book right now to read with my hopefully new Head of Household and Commander.

Didn’t expect a leftist political domina book….

I really wanted to like this book I’m hungry for this kind of book and I’m gonna be honest I super disappointed I like reading books about domination from the mail perspective it’s interesting I already know what the dominant perspective is. However, this was a huge disappointment because the whole beginning of the book is, it’s politically leaning to the far left. I am a conservative Republican dominatrix, so that was a huge offputting aspect. It was Judgey. It was an accurate. The author makes the claim at one point in the book that philosophy rarely leads to action, except for Nietzsche that’s an insanely in accurate thing to say.  The book is also really Judgey and I felt you know it it had PC language like they said don’t call the subordinate a slave and it’s like this isn’t real life. This is fantasy and that might be someone’s chosen term for some thing obviously all of this is consensual so it felt like a anti-intellectual Maronick comment. I don’t think it was really saucy you know they say you know we’re either focusing on the importance you know boring details it actually was really boring in the beginning the book, I’ve read other books written by men on this, and they were really exciting. They had stories of all these kinky things talking about in the relationship. The beginning is just this huge Lee in accurate through a far left political lines of women, being oppressed and you know he postulates a lot of things that I don’t think are accurate and don’t resonate is accurate for a lot of Dom’s so it just I appreciate the sentiment, but it felt intellectually beneath me while I was reading it.
