Publisher's summary

Love is multiplied, never divided.

Liam
I was kicked out at 16 for being transgender, but it turned out to be one of the best things to ever happen to me. At 21, I have a fantastic new family made up of my brother and a handful of wonderful friends, I own my own photography business, and I’m happier than I imagined possible. There’s just one thing missing.... Okay, maybe two....

Wyatt
When I took the position volunteering as a therapist at Rainbow House, I knew I’d found my place in the world: helping teens who had been rejected by their families. What I didn’t expect was the friendship I formed with Liam or how it would grow over the years into a crush I just couldn’t shake. I’m happy to see him finally opening himself up to dating with someone he trusts like Owen. But when he comes to me and asks if I can help his boyfriend, I feel like there’s more to the request than just a few therapy sessions. The more I get to know Owen, the more I like him, too.

Owen
I’m not sure why I believe so much in fate when she’s dealt me nothing but crappy hands - a stint in prison and enough childhood horrors to fuel all my adult nightmares. But I still hold on to the idea that everything happens for a reason. What I can’t figure out is why fate would plop me naked into Liam’s bed under the pretext of helping him with a photo series for a gallery showing. Or why my stomach goes funny every time he smiles at me. Liam is too sweet to be exposed to my demons, but I don’t know how to protect him.... Maybe that’s why fate gave us Wyatt.

*This is the seventh book in the Heathens Ink series. Each book in the series can be listened to as a stand-alone, but characters do recur so it’s more fun to listen to them all!

Refreshing

It was so great for me to see a trans character who was normalized and relatable. it was handled realistically and respectfully and wasn't made into the main plot. the plot was about a relationship between 3 guys and was really sweet actually. The fact one of them is trans is just another aspect of the character's life just as much as his photography is, as aspect of him that needs to be acknowledged but not his entire character and the thruple really respects each other's boundaries and such so I was really glad to see that as well. I wish there were more characters and romances like this that I could relate to.

Excellent!

Loved this new one in the Heathen's Ink series by KM Neuhold! I love trans stories and KM does an excellent job at developing the characters in this book! This one was my favorite of the whole series. Kenneth Obi, once again, does a great job narrating this one!

as good as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the 2 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Wonderful characters

This is the seventh book of a series, and though I am not familiar with the rest of the books, it was not difficult at all to keep up with the story. The main character, Liam, is a young trans man who is very attracted and has been for a long time, to his older brother's friend, Owen, and is also attracted to his therapist friend, Wyatt. Both men are also attracted to Liam, but each struggles with their attraction to Liam because of their friendships and age differences and past, while Liam struggles with his body dysphoria and the fear that wanting a relationship with both men will scare them away. It is a very sexy story, with the mem taking a lot of emotional chances that ultimately pay off in a wonderful happy ending. The narrator is talented and does a great job of making each man distinctive, although there were a couple of instances in which the switch of character voices didn't go as smoothly, but overall, it was a pleasant experience with a great interpretation of a sexy polyamorous love story.

hes going to get his men....

Liam, Owen and Wyatt got perfectly together. Each man has his own inner demons to conquer, but are as beautiful inside as outside. Together they are strong and support each other, becoming a family. I love this triad.
Oh and the rest of the gang makes their appearance s and brought out the emotions.. I traded up at a couple moments, swooned at sweet moments, loved the sexy times and can't wait for more. The Heathens Ink series never fails me.
I definitely recommend!!

Kenneth Obi narrates this story and does a great job bringing the personalities out and the story to life.

A must listen!

Loved everything about this book. I had read it first and then listened to it. The narrator (Kenneth Obi) does an amazing job voicing all three characters in their own distinct way and bringing the book to life. I loved listening to how these three characters come together. I was also impressed with how the author didn't gloss over Liam's, who is transgender, body dysmorphia.

Memorable characters and nicely done narration.

I loved this story and Kenneth Obi’s narration was very nicely done

This is a sweet, beautiful story about three men’s journey towards each other. Liam, Wyatt and Owen have been in each other’s orbit for years. Owen and Wyatt are several years older. Causing them to have issues were Liam is concerned, but wanting him nonetheless. Both men worried that a triad won’t work.

Liam decided that when he turned twenty-one he was old enough to go for what he wanted. He is transgender, not fully comfortable with his body, unsure of how the men will react to him but knowing he needs both men in his life and bed.

I’ve been waiting for their story for a while. It was worth the wait. The insecurities all three men deal with seems to be realistic. The story telling is good, giving each man a strong voice.
