Publisher's summary

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Becca Steele comes a new standalone M/M romance.

When my mother told me she was getting married, I had no idea just how much my life would change. Her new husband does his best to make me feel welcome, but his son is a different story. Huxley Granger is rude and aggressive, and from the moment we collide, he makes it clear that he loathes me.

Then, something happens. An event that alters everything between us.
I find myself looking at him in a different way. A way I shouldn’t be looking at the person who has been so hostile to me from the beginning. A way I shouldn’t be looking at the one person I’m not allowed to have.

Even though I tell myself to forget him, I can’t get him out of my head. And I could be wrong, but I think he might have the same problem. I know I should stay away. I should.

But I won’t.

Collided is an M/M new adult romance with enemies to lovers themes. It is a prequel to the LSU college romance series. Each book in the series can be listen to as a standalone.

Beautiful story

Great writing, this is a beautiful story. Becca Steele is always a one click purchase for me. The narration on this one is spot on awesome. Will Watt and James Joseph are a wonderful team. The first book in the LSU series.

Loved It!

I absolutely loved Cole and Huxley's story when I read it and it was fabulous revisiting it in audio. Both these narrators are just fantastic! It was such a relationship focused story about 2 adult guys forced together as new Stepbrothers, both loathing the other. Their animosity toward each other was off the charts. The more they fought, the more the UST simmered! And boy did it simmer. The author builds that connection so well. One night an incident causes things to change and their dynamic shifts. They begin to open up and trust one another, and slowly begin to form a bond. Huxley and Cole both feel deeply and both were missing a true connection in their life, until they found each other. I really enjoyed all the time they spent together, all their text conversations, and all their stolen moments. Their road to a HEA was great. It had so many sweet moments, so much feeling, so much heat, and so much love! Really enjoyable story!

📖 Cole and Huxley are thrown together without consent when their parents announce they are getting married. Hating each other sight unseen things get heated between them. Only the line between hate and love begins to blur when Huxley needs Coles's help.

🤔 OMG!! Cole and Huxley are tension and chemistry overload. I can not wait for more from these two. The cliffhanger that the book ended on has me so anxious for the extended version of this story.

🎙️ James Joseph and Will Watt were amazing yet again. They complement each other well and are great at bringing the characters and story to life.

Love everything by this author!

I always know I am going to enjoy an audiobook by this author, regardless if it’s M/F, M/M, or RH. Fabulous choice of narrators, they do these characters so much justice it’s not even funny ❤️

I was so excited to see this come up on audio so I automatically knew I would use a credit as soon as it was live. This book did not disappoint and I am super excited to jump into the rest of the universe available on audio (I snatched them up during the last big sale and so happy I did!). The tension between these two was high from the get-go. I felt for these two, Cole and Hux were blindsided by their parents cheating/having an affair and skipping ahead to the wedding. I would have been as pissed as they were and would have lashed out. I loved seeing the love blossom between them, seeing the push and pull and not realizing what was happening until it was too late haha. The steam was fab but I loved the heartwarming moments more. The strawberries made me laugh, smile, and swoon in the different scenes, the songs and Hux bearing his soul, Cole and taking care of Hux after the accident. I loved the side plots with Cole and his work, Cole sticking up for Hux with Hux’s dad. I loved the anti-climatic ending hahaha and I loved their HEA (and the voyeur part coming out a little made me giggle haha). I am interested in this LSU universe so will be listening to the next book in the series very soon as a reward for getting work done. I think the ONLY critique I would have given for this was that Hux never answered Cole’s repeated question about why did he call him with the accident. I think that would have been awesome to hear that answer when he told him, but only thing I would change/want more of.

Narration was fabulous! I loved the narrator for Cole more than Hux but barely. These two really brought the characters to life and made me so invested that I finished this in a day. I wanted to listen to more by them and cannot wait to get to the next in the series. The tension, hate that turned into love, the animosity and egging on - their antics were hilarious and the performances were spot on!. I felt of these characters. When Hux felt seen for the first time, when someone cared about his well-being, my heart broke and was put back together with this love story.

Always will recommend this author and especially her audiobooks! Both of these narrators are already on my automatic listen to list ❤️

Five Stars All Around

I loved everything about this book. When I heard another Becca Steele book with both Will Watt and James Joseph as the narrators was coming out I was so excited, This book did not disappoint. The story was excellent and the duet narration was EXCEPTIONAL. There was something really intimate about the dialogue between the two.

I can't wait to listen to more from these two.

Worth the wait! Narrators brought the story to life!

If you have read/listened to the other books in the LSU series, you will not be disappointed with this prequel. Loved the characters and their story. I have been anxiously awaiting the audiobook and was hoping the Becca Steele continued the duet narration by Will Watt and James Joseph. They are phenomenal together and the duet style is perfection! I’m looking forward to more in this series - especially if the narration team continues. Auto downloads for me for both kindle and audio formats.

Love Cole & Hux’s story🥵

It’s been a while since I read a step-brother trope but I loved in Anti-Valentine. I’m so glad we finally got the rest of Cole & Hux’s story! I feel their pain but man they are steaming hot together🥵

Phew! Will & James were delicious as this pair of brothers;)
