This book was amazing!! I loved the story!

This book was a true blessing
I got lost in it's pages! It kept reminding me of along the lines of 'Fried Green Tomatoes' for some reason. I absolutely hated to see it end. I want more and more and more and more!!
Thank you for such an amazing story, you managed to envelope me into it's folds and and help me to escape into it's adventure.

Lovely, moving story, with vivid wording

I loved those inspiring story. The story line wasn't incredibly original, but the wording was beautiful, which was a real pleasure. Sadly, besides it being fairly predictable, I'm afraid the narrator's voice was much too breathy, often swallowing the last couple words in most sentences. I recommend the book, but suggest reading it on your own if possible

Worth hanging in there

I admit I mostly choose my fiction stories to stir my intellect, engage my fancy, or uplift my spirit. This title was intriguing, and I have been longing to visit the ocean again, so I took a chance on an unknown author.

The story started out rather bleakly, and a couple of times I almost set it aside because I was afraid it was going down a dark path. However, the people and places interested me. Without any spoilers, I will just say the content stayed family friendly, and I was glad I listened to the end.

The narrator’s voice was appropriate to the character, though not always an easy listen. I will encourage you not to give up (like I almost did) when she narrates the voice of a child and was very hard to understand due to an exaggerated dialect. That only happened once, so it isn’t too hard to push through.

After finishing the listen this evening, I wanted to encourage others to stick with the story. I feel enriched by the listen.

But she is not a nice narrator! I struggled to finish listening, but did because I really like the author. I have to READ the next book in this series because of that! Horrible narrator!

Surprises

A very heart warming book. a few surprises, a few things could be figured out. I would highly suggest any one interested in past vs future should diffanitly read this. A nice surprise in the end !

Moving story

Though whiney at times, I had no problem understanding the narrator. The story was quite believable... and made me want to move to the small little seaside town in OBX.

Great story, of hope and the power of prayer. I recommend it, I loved it!

Audio is terrible I'm sorry to say.

I can't understand about 1/4 of the performance. It's the worst I've ever heard. I've had other issues with performances that involved the background music and percussion but I don't think I can finish this book. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE ELSE READ THIS FOR AUDIBLE.
