Passionate and emotional narration...

This is the perfect example of how vital a good narrator is to an audiobook. This was an amazing experience!! Bianca Amato took me on an emotional journey through the life of Violet. I truly felt the nerves and paranoia of Violet on her wedding date. Her constant worry of being discovered. The all consuming love and passion she felt for Adrian. The devastation and heartbreak when he found out about the lies. I was Violet every minute of this story, that's how good this narrator is. So good in fact that I will skip the next book because I don't think there's salvation for the evil selfish wench of Jeanette and I don't really care if she gets a happily ever after. I will immediate start listening to the story about Kit and Eliza (The Husband Trap) that sounds very promising.

Yes the story is implausible. Twins that switch identities because the one that is getting married doesn't want to and the other one happens to be secretly in love with the groom from the moment she laid eyes on him. But the narration is so good that it takes you through a vivid emotional journey and turns a good story into an unforgettable experience. Absolutely worth a credit!!

Love this book!!!

I loved this book and the narrator truly brought this book to life. Being married to an identical twin I can see how this could very easily happen and how Violet is so much weaker than Jeannette. The other two books in this series are just as good. I love them all.

Wonderful performance

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed Bianca Amato as narrator so much that I immediately started searching for other books she has narrated. Her voice is perfect for regency romances, and I'm sure she's wonderful in every other genre as well. I generally don't read or listen to romance novels, but I was intrigued when book 2 was offered as a daily deal a few months ago. I bought it on a whim and immediately got hooked on the series. Perhaps the fact that it was a regency piece made it a more compelling listen than I would imagine other romances to be. I enjoyed the characters, and even though the plot was very predictable in many instances, I was still hooked throughout the book's entirety. If you're like me and mostly stick to literary fiction and creative nonfiction, you may want to give this series as try. I found it to be a refreshing change of pace, and a great listen!

WOW So Lovely And Intriguing

I've been engaged till the end and make me sigh; what a wonderful story, full of intrigue, and makes me curious how the story ends. Salute to the author for the wonderful story and the narrator's very well performance. Absolutely 5 stars from me. I'm looking forward for the next story.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I wondered if I would enjoy this book after reading several of the reviews, but I most definitely did. Typical of Regency-type novels, it followed a certain pattern but had certain elements that made it very unique and interesting.

Deliciously scandalous!

There wasn't a boring part in this book, I stayed up to the wee hours in the morning to finish the book in one listen. I love romance books with great plots! Its early 1800's at the wedding of Duke Raeburn and Jeanette Rose, but Jeanette convinces her younger shy book-worm twin sister to take her place at the alter. Janette Violet finds herself having to keep up the pretense of being the life of the party, boisterous Jeanette Rose the new Dutchess of Raeburn. Violets sweet reserved nature starts to show through and people start catching on her true identity. Very scandalous and hard to put down!
Very Credit worthy and get it while its on sale!

Enjoyed this trilogy

This was a good listen. It got a little long but Warren's descriptions are worth the time because they draw you into the settings and characters. I would recommend this book, series and author!

Enjoyable!

I thought this was a cute story. I truly enjoyed the main characters, the storyline itself, and the main characters. While this was not the best book I've ever heard, it was good and I would definitely recommend it.

If you need an easy listen, this will surely do it for you!
