A must read!!!

I find it so hard to find a wholesome story that isn’t cheesy or predictable. This story is heartwarming and painful and wonderful! I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

The focus on relationships is wonderful and the biblical references are relevant.

I couldn’t stop listening!

Every time I thought I had unraveled a plot twist, Lynn Austin was one step ahead of me. Such an enjoyable ride! I love how she incorporates the truths of Scripture with a gentle hand in her character’s lives. This was a wholesome and delightful listening experience.

Pretty good story

liked the characters and how this book ended. clean book; I'd allow my kids to read it too

Enjoyable

This was a nice read. I would get into the story and then it would switch to another time with a different character. Then it seemed I had to start at a new point and it would take a bit to get into that storyline. I think it happened nine times throughout the book. A little "jumpy" for a storyline but enjoyable.

Great book!

Lynn Austen is one of my favorite authors and this book tells you why! Love her books!

Well written story with many unexpected turns

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It captured me from the very first chapter and kept my interest throughout the entire book! The author has a way of keeping you in suspense and not giving away the ending until the very last chapter. The characters became very real and I could feel their pain, their disappointment and their hopes and dreams as I listened. The only thing that I was not very fond of was the narrator. The voices of the characters were not especially well done, but the book held such a great story that I had no trouble listening and anticipating what each chapter would bring. I would highly recommend this book. It has some very good biblical principles that we would be wise to ponder.

i could picture each character!

The narrator made the story live. With each change of voice-believable !
It is Christian fiction and I liked the way the beliefs were woven into the story. It would be nice to at least try to take some of the "try to think of it this way".
We(my husband and I) enjoyed it very much.
