I have to be honest to say I liked the story, just not all of it. It didn't catch my attention until the last 2 hours of the book. The beginning was a lot of details I didn't care to know. I know it was the same narrator for all three characters but when she did Layla's voice I was so annoyed. I was distracted several times which isn't normal for me when I'm listening to a good book. I wouldn't recommend it but everyone has different opinions.
A total book geek who wishes she had the gift of writing!!
This books starts off very slow. It sounds like another basketball wives storyline. The mystery made it better even though I figured out one of the culprits. It got better as I listened.
It was a nice ending. Doesn't leave you hanging
The Narrator was not very animated. I felt like she was reading to me instead of acting out the parts. There were a few times I got confused on which character I was listing too
The different voices. It made it worth listening to.
The whole story was amazing.
I hated everything lalia represented. I loved Vanessa and nia.
When can I expect more books?
I was skeptical about purchasing this book thinking it would be about ratchet women who I could not relate to or even like, but I was so wrong. This book was classy, had drama and the characters were likable and strong women.
Even though I felt like I was listening to an episode of basketball wives the storyline was still enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like is all the name dropping of every piece of clothing and piece of jewelry and everything else the story would probably be half as long without all the name dropping. I didn't know many of the designers anyway so most of it was lost on me. I did like the various voices it made it more interesting to listen to. The end and left me kind of shaking my head but OK
Could not listening to this book this book is awesome .Sexy surprising !
Makes you angry and makes you cheer I want MORE!!
I love nice Voices!
This was goooood!!! It had me talking all kinds of shit out loud. I needed some juiciness and this book did not disappoint. But that "road code" is a hell to the no.
Only thing that really got on my nerves is having to give the name of every item that they are wearing. Please just say I'm putting on my tennis shoes or pink sweater . Who cares about what the name brand is!!!
I enjoyed listening to Games Divas Play. This was well worth the credit used to purchase the book.
