Amazing story!

I loved this book and couldn't stop listening! half way through I instantly bought the next two so I wouldn't skip a beat. Not only is there an amazing love story but you learn about the history of the time as well. so we'll written and read that you actually feel like you are there witnessing it all.

Great story

It is a bit graphic when it describes in vivid detail the execution used at the times. Aside from that, it's a great story.

Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?

Davina Porter is a fantastic narrator. You could tell who was speaking before the "...,said Claire" which makes a world of difference when listening to an audiobook.

I've mentioned before that sometimes keeping a series straight (as far as order goes) is a little bit of a pain in the butt. For your benefit, I will list the order clearly for anyone who is interested.

It should also be noted that the way Diana begins a lot of her books makes you feel like maybe you have the order wrong and missed a book. You didnt, keep calm and read on. All will be sorted soon.

Addictive, engaging and thoughtful. I plan to get the next in the series because I have to know what happens.
