Amazing

Sam was so entertaining in this audio version. You felt as though you were on the hike with him with his descriptions and voices. You walk away with a “never give up” attitude.

I lost all track of time!

Fabulous storytelling abilities. I listened to the 1st five hours the first day. Then I decided to stretch the rest out to savor it a little longer, knowing darn well I was going to read the book next, and relisten to the Audible. This is a raw, honest and entertaining story of Sam's life. I loved getting to "know" him better with wee bits of humor tossed in for good measure. I had to reach for the tissues a few times as the story touched my heart and soul. I so enjoyed the inspiring adventure from start to finish of Waypoints.

Prepare To Be Wowed!

The way Sam Heughan tells his story makes you feel as if you are actually there. His dulcet tones when sharing his waypoints thus far in his life are mesmerizing. A must listen to audiobook!

Great story and narration

Really enjoyed the narration done by Sam of his life story. He has gone through many challenging moments in his life which I find touching and inspirational.

Waypoints parallels my Zhuanji

As I listened throughout this first release night, Sam’s relating his path in his life in an authentic open and honest humanistic manner has given me hope to yet begin again, one step, one day at a time. Humbly inspirational and evocative. Look forward to reading the book with his voice in my soul.

Sam's 95 mile trek and more.

Sam's trek over the West Highland Way lent to a high level of introspection and self awareness, of which he has successfully interwoven with his autobiography. It makes for an excellent read. Waypoints will not disappoint.

Entertaining and inspirational

This book far exceeded my expectations. The beauty of the descriptions of the West Highland Way transported me, the humor entertained, but the personal introspection and developing philosophy inspired me to look at my life differently. This is a story that will stay with me.

Awakening Adventure

I was keen to notice that while Sam was speaking with pain and commitment, that I as only the listener felt myself equally out of breath and pensive as well. Wonderful book, brilliantly portrayed by the author's reading of it, and experiences noted throughout.
