Great story line

This book has me hooked on the series. I love the action, romance, and mystery, I love the bad boys that are so good and loyal to the brotherhood. I love the hot and steamy sex scenes. I'm hoping this series will unvail each and every one of the brothers happily ever after love stories. My only hangup was the gaps of silence in this recording.

Got the first book on sale and it was so good I had to buy all the others available right away. If you like paranormal romance you'll love this series.

Vampires, Romantic fantasy and sex

If this is what you like, this has got it all. Complete fantasy sex and relationships. A sexie dark fairytale.

Worst pauses ever!

I love the story but the pauses in between chapters/scenes suck big time!!!!!!!! The pauses are so long I thought my phone died or something... hated that and I wasn't able to fix that! 🤬😡

Horrible Narrator

I enjoyed this book but the narrator was horrible. He could not change his voice for each character so the lines ran together. I don’t like when men try to do a woman’s voice because it is usually not very good but he was horrible. Next time get someone who can alter their voice with the characters. His narration is what gave this such a low rating.

One of my favorites

I’ve read this a few times in various ways. I own it in audiobook, ebook, and paperback. J. R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of my favorite series, and this is one of my favorite series starters. I’m currently re-reading the series with the aid of my audiobooks due to a lack of time to sit and read a paperback or ebook. Time for me to move on to the next, Lover Eternal.

fabulously written

the story is wondrrful the narrator is ok but the recording is not so good not the quality of sound but between chapters.

I love this audiobook. It has action, suspense, and romance all tired into one. I have recommended this audio and the other series associated with the Black Dagger Brotherhood to all my friends who love to read and listen to audiobook.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how this story was not like a lot of the traditional stories of vampires. It showed another side that could actually be possible if this was a real life story.

What about Jim Frangione???s performance did you like?

I love the way Jim Frangione narrated the story. I was able to identify each character. The way the story was narrated I was able to picture each scene as if I was actually watching it on a movie screen.

If you could take any character from Dark Lover out to dinner, who would it be and why?

If I had the chance to take any of the characters to Dinner it would probably be Beth. I would love to have girl talk over dinner about her life with the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

I first heard of J.R.Ward from a young lady I was serving jury duty with and I have been hooked every since.

Loved it!

Dark Lover drew me in instantly and I’m starting the 2nd book in a hurry!!! The audio performance was excellent.

Great book

Loved this book. You can't help but to really get into the characters. Very hard to put down. The narrator is very good.
