No rest for the weary

It is amazing how this guy has to go through all this and still can't get a peaceful life. I mean, I know it's supposed to be an adventure, but that is too much doom and gloom. Will not deny it is an amazing series.

Good but

I enjoyed the majority of this book but feels like John is ok with his people dieing he could wipe out the whole army by himself in a instant probably but yet he’s scared of killing clones and mages trying to kill him and his people and also it’s clear who the villains are immediately it was stupid of John to trust mages who clearly were lieing and are slavers and the cloned bugs were just so happened to be on the way to there tower and 2 of the sages who were supposedly away from there tower for a few days travel 🙄🤔 It doesn’t ruin the series but come on give me a twist I can’t see

more of the same

The story didn't really go anywhere and after finally being able to go all out there was a new reason that he couldn't surprise surprise.

Holes

Wow it seems like this story John started making Swiss cheese with all the holes in the plot. I still enjoyed this book though overall and will get the next one.
