Publisher's summary

Attorney Olivia Murray hopes her life will get back to normal after a hard fought trial. But she soon finds out that the forces of evil have not given up their pursuit to win the hearts and minds of those in Windy Ridge.

An embezzling scandal breaks that rocks the community church to its core. The New Age groups are ready to declare victory when a high profile prosecutor files criminal charges against the local pastor. However, Olivia is not willing to give up on the community she's come to love. She takes on the defense pro bono knowing it could destroy her career, but it's a case that she is called to defend.

The battle will be fierce, but she's not fighting it alone. Her friend and fellow attorney Grant Baxter is by her side. Olivia must use all the tools in her arsenal to combat those who seek to destroy the believers in the community. If Olivia can't prove the pastor's innocence, more than her career is on the line. The entire community of Windy Ridge could fall to the forces of darkness.

Great story!

I loved the characters and their faith stand. I wish Grant had been a stronger character. There is so much truth in this story. Reminded me of Frank Peretti’s This Present Darkness. Makes you think about the importance of learning scripture and being aware of unseen dangers.

Great Read

Narration well done. I felt like I was walking with them each step of the way. Wonderful portrayal of how easy it is for us to loose our way when people hurt us. But, great biblical teaching on how God stands with His arms open, ready to receive us no matter what.

Biblical Truth

Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Jesus has examples through his word our defense, protection,
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
We are in a 24/7 spiritual battle, so we arm ourselves with The biblical truths of the Living Gods words,
We do not fight alone. We face physical struggles that threaten our homes, families, savings, our country, and more. And the unseen battle fought by the “spiritual forces of evil” is far bigger than the visible battle.
God is fighting for us, He shows us examples through His written word, Daniel, Joseph, Moses, Elisha, Elijah
We put our faith in the person of Jesus Christ who shed His precious blood a substitute sacrifice for ALL our sins past present future and paid the penalty of Gods Wrath we deserved to ransom, redeem us back to himself spiritually,
He died that we might have life in him alone!
Now and forever.
John 3:16-21 v 36
Clearly shows and gives explanation of Gods love and Justice.
I enjoyed these audiobooks l wish there were more like this...
Although this is fiction, this is real in our lives today as we follow Jesus, more Blood bought born again believers are being persecuted by the enemy that lies within all who are anti christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
I Corinthians 15:58

Good story of food vs evil

Good story, I read the first book and was a little disappointed in this one. Not real exciting and kind of predictable.
