I don't think I've listened to this narrator before, but I do think she did a good job.

Any additional comments?

I really liked this. It was a different type of romance. Everyone was very sexually uninhibited. A lot of lines are blurred. I really like how they're all super 'guy guys' and super open at the same time, two traits that don't often go together. I'm definitely ready to continue the series.

Number 1 at this point. I have at least 50 audio books, so that says a lot.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Backstage Pass?

I like the part when Brian plays his solo on stage with Myrna watching and how the music makes her feel and makes her come alive is an eye opener for her.

Have you listened to any of Justine O. Keef’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not until this series of Sinners on tour. I can not wait for the rest of the books to come out.

Would you consider the audio edition of Backstage Pass to be better than the print version?

That's a toss up! The story is so awesome via KINDLE and it comes alive via Audible. I love Brian and Myrna

What did you like best about this story?

The older woman and younger man. Brian was easy to fall in love and his bandmates where their urging him on and giving him a hard time.

Which character – as performed by Justine O. Keef – was your favorite?

I can't pick a favorite. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Trey

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The book is full of smexy times. The dining room table, the bath tub. However, when they went shopping for real food after Myrna became disgusted with just beer in the fridge. They were like little kids when she suggested she would cook if they cleaned. Hilarious!!!

Any additional comments?

There is no such thing as listening to this audible too many times. The best book for a road trip.

"CAPTIVATINGLY HOT"

This book shocked me, I couldn't put it down. I was an emotinoal reck by the end of the book. I laughed and got turned on all in one breath. This book has lots of sex but the story-line is captivating and it draws you in. This was my first Olivia Cunning book, and I have since then purchased book 2 in the Sinners On Tour Series...... yes I'm hooked. I also bought the whole series on my nook, I think its a must have in every readers library.

What made the experience of listening to Backstage Pass the most enjoyable?

I haven't read/listened to a Rock and Roll story before. This was very interesting and the story flowed well. I found it hard to put down. The story line was very interesting and I found myself laughing out loud, crying and feeling all the emotions that the author brought out in her characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Myrna - I wanted to be her. She was strong and independent but also had the vulnerable side to her. And she got to flirt with all the guys and have hot sex.

What about Justine O. Keef’s performance did you like?

He seemed to get into his character and put emotion into his voice. I really liked that.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

yes - the part with his Daddy and all the band members were there for him.

This was a very enjoyable listen and I will definitely be following up with the rest of the series.

Smart but Strange Rocker Romance

Brian (28), part of a heavy metal band, meets Myrna (35) a professor of human sexuality. At first Brian was sweet & sexy while Myrna was a breath of fresh air, so different from the young, desperate band groupies.

In addition to lots of kinky sex, there were extremely humorous moments when Myna spends time traveling on the tour bus, doing a research project. However, their sex soon became slightly violent - totally out of character for gentle Brian and spunky Myrna.

Olivia Cunning created an engrossing cast of characters, likable, complex & endearing. The plot was surprisingly unique and the narration was excellent. I just wish Olivia had left out the scenes of sexual violence - so not necessary!

A lot of sex in this one!

Ok this book was more a porno in book form due to the loose story line and all sex in every way pretty much.

Which scene was your favorite?

When I think about it, there are so many scenes that stick out in my mind. I love the love story of Brian and Myrna.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, not extreme, but just a little shocked at the Intimate scenes.

I love this book. the characters are so diverse, and have their own thoughts and feelings. its one of my favorite audio books hands down.
