Publisher's summary

The New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Sweet Hot Deliciousness / Yum Yum

Any additional comments?

Sweet Filthy Boy is the first in "Wild Seasons" series and focuses on a young french layer with very diverse group of friends from various parts of the world, and then there is this recent college grad who just wants to be herself and follow her own path. So you listen on and feel you know what is going to happen, and then BANG just when you thought that there was no way the romance could work, or you guess on the direction of the story, you get sidetracked by the funny parts and the very Sexy (fanning my face to cool it down) Dirty parts of this book...

After listening to Sweet Filthy Boy I had a strong desire to go to Las Vegas on a search for a Frenchmen of my own - His accent is such a turn on... This book exceeded my expectations by a billion miles. It was sweet, hot, adventurous, and it made my heart skip a beat - quite a few beats... Shayna Thibodeaux was the perfect narrator and hooked me right into the heart of this book!! I can't wait for book 2 in this fabulous new series - Dirty Rowdy Thing - and will be snapping it up as soon as Audible release it... :)

Started a little slow but really got going...

This one is a great addition to the Christina Lauren books, funny and sexy and oh so very hot. I did not like it as well as her previous books, but I absolutely LOVED them, so you have to take that with a grain of salt. This book is still very enjoyable and very good, I was just not blown away, like I have been in the past. The story and some characters did not seem as developed as in past books and the ending was good, but did not provide all the resolution I wanted to see, not sure if more is coming in another book. Overall a highly enjoyable listen.

Not as good as the beautiful series

This was ok. I kind of got annoyed at her voice at times. The story was pretty good but I was way more excited with the beautiful series! With those, I couldn't wait for the next one. With this I was ok when it ended.

One Ticket to Paris Please?

What did you love best about Sweet Filthy Boy?

I loved how Ansel never wavered in his decision to be with Mia. He knew he wanted her and he followed through. Aside from being crazy hot and desirable, we ladies love to be wanted.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I thought Mia was pretty cool. She took a chance and I can appreciate that. Not knowing the outcome or if he would be different once they got to Paris she stuck it out.

Have you listened to any of Shayna Thibodeaux’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I thought the narrator did an excellent job with the french accent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didnt listen in one sitting, but I cam back for more. Another great romance from Christina Lauren.

Hot!!

Great romance. I really liked all the characters in this one. Ansel and Mia will hopefully be able to do their relationship outside the bedroom as well as they do it inside. I am sure we will probably get at least some more about them in the future books in the series even though they are about the other characters. I loved her relationship with her 'girls' Close friendships are just the best!! This is not a deep novel but it is 'sweet' and entertaining. The narrator is not bad. Her inflection can be off and the way she builds her way into the scene and drops off is not my favorite. However, she does a great job with all the French .

Wow

Umm Shayna Thibodeaux is such an amazing narrator. I was telling a friend about this audiobook and she asked who narrated the guy's part...I had to stop and think for a minute before I remembered that Shayna did it all herself! Holy Smokes, she can really rock a French dude's accent somehow?! Amazing listen!

Loved this story

As always, Christina Lauren writes a wonderfully sweet and lovely book. The narration was a little frustrating to get through, but I was able to tune out the rise and fall of each sentence and be involved in the story.
