Publisher's summary

It's been months since Brian Sinclair, lead guitarist for the famous rock band Sinners, composed anything. Unable to write the music that once flowed so naturally, Brian is lost without his musical mojo. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian may have found the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, will Brian be able to convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling, and that now that he's found his heart's muse, he doesn't want to live without her?

Stunned

After reading the reviews I was not sure I wanted to listen to this book. I took a chance. Normally, I do not favor any books when there is a menage de trios but, I was surprised it did not bother me as much as I thought. The story line was so well done, you sort of not notice the sexual content as much. And yes there was quite a bit of sexual content. This book is not for the faint at heart. I was thoroughly surprised at this book. So much in fact that I downloaded the next one. You really get involved with the characters and want to know what happened. I loved Brian and Myrna. Yes they are weird and not a typical couple, but you feel they really love each other. And let's face it it's a book. The narrator did a pretty good job. Better than most. It's a wild hot story that takes you for a ride, I guarantee you won't be bored.

Loved this one!

Would you consider the audio edition of Backstage Pass to be better than the print version?

I have never read the print version but this audiobook was great. The narrator was wonderful and I can't wait to download the next one.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Backstage Pass?

I can't pick one out, there were too many.

What about Justine O. Keef’s performance did you like?

She is great. I've never listened to her before but I will put her on my favorite list.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some part were a little beyond my verson of normal and not something I would do or want to do but the way it was told kept looking forward to what would happen next.

Very Sexy

First read this story as a freebie on my Kindle. The premise is completely far-fetched-a Human Sexuality professor "runs in" to her favorite metal band at a hotel bar when she's at a conference-but that isn't the point. Sex, love, relationships and rock!

Enjoyed the characters but needs less sex...

If you could sum up Backstage Pass in three words, what would they be?

Hot. Rock. Stars.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Less sex, more story.

What does Justine O. Keef bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I would have gotten bored just reading since I probably would have skipped most of the sex scenes. I have a feeling I wouldn't have even liked Myrna on paper. I just didn't like her personality at all. Justine at least made her bearable because her voice was really pleasant to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really since the back to back sex scenes got wearisome at times.

Any additional comments?

Would definitely buy more stuff from this narrator and will be purchasing the rest of the series if only because I want to read more about Trey and the rest of the band.

Entertaining!

This audiobook is series of hot fantasies that never leaves you bored. The story was enjoyable and interesting, even if it gets cheesy a couple of times.

Fun blend of erotica and romance

Ms Cunning (a more obvious pseudonym I couldn't imagine) has given me a treat. She manages to set a fun series of erotic encounters into an authentic context, and then add an engaging romance into the mix.

Myrna's adventures with Bryan give the reader plenty of excitement. However the budding relationship between them, hindered by the shadow of her past, keeps everything 'real' and uncertain. I had a good time listening to this story - thanks Ms Cunning.

what I was looking for

I'll take a hefty dose of smut when I'm in a bad mood and this was exactly that. If you are looking for depth this might not be your read, but if you are looking to listen to a book to keep you entertained and make you blush then jump on board with this one.

Alot of sex..little substance...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

If Myrna changed her name why didn't she change her first name....her name...it just makes the guys sound like little kids way too immature for her.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Usually I go from romance to supernatural to mystery, I don't like to listen to many of the same genre in a row...so I mix it up.

Did Justine O. Keef do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes she did a good job differentiating the characters, I had no problems with that but she has some fake sounds...like yelling....that were a bit annoying.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

no, to immature for me.

Any additional comments?

This book got high reviews...it was ok to me if you just want hot sex....It will be awhile before I continue on with the series...I can only take so much implausibility.

WOW! WASN'T EXPECTING THAT!

Where does Backstage Pass rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have yet to find a book I think is better than FSOG, but this book tops that and any other book I have heard/read!

Which character – as performed by Justine O. Keef – was your favorite?

My favorite character's voice was Eric! This is a good narrator, she sounds like a different person every time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Only took me one weekend to listen to this book.
