Publisher's summary

It's been months since Brian Sinclair, lead guitarist for the famous rock band Sinners, composed anything. Unable to write the music that once flowed so naturally, Brian is lost without his musical mojo. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian may have found the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, will Brian be able to convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling, and that now that he's found his heart's muse, he doesn't want to live without her?

Hot Rock Star Romance

Have you listened to any of Justine O. Keef’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I thought Justine did a great job switching between so many characters...especially so many male voices. I really enjoyed this narration!

Any additional comments?

This was a fun and hot listen... It had a LOT of sex in it, which is fine, but I would have liked a little more story, too!

Steamy, Sexy, Sluty!!!

This book was about a female college professor who was forced by her past to live as an introvert. Myrna, the unconventional groupie that no one ever expects to be a fan of a rock band, becomes enthralled by having a one night stand with her favorite guitar player, Master Sinclair. Brian, the devastatingly gorgeous lead guitar player is heartbroken again after falling in love with a band groupie who sleeps with his band mate. By chance Myrna meets her favorite rock band and begins to live out her deepest sexual fantasies with her favorite music idol, Master Sinclair, and becomes his greatest fan. They become each other’s fantasies. The sex is awesome and not for the faint at heart. Brian lays it down and Myrna lets go of her inhibitions. Like every budding relationship, Brian and Myrna carry along baggage that somehow makes its way on the tour bus. The rest of the band, in one way or another, willing takes part in keeping the relationship intact.

This book fulfilled all my expectations. I can recall my groupie days, following my favorite band and finding it easy to slip into the mode of wanting to do anything just to be able to touch the idol of my affection. I remember standing alongside the stage trying to swindle a backstage pass out of the bodyguards. I remember working at certain venues because I knew my favorite artist would perform there. The lengths that people would go through as a groupie was overwhelming.

Olivia Cunning did a great job showing the depth of each character. I just knew that she would invest time in letting every character be known and have a purpose. Thus, reading the next book in the series is a must. Although Sinners is a fictional band they could be any music group or icon of any genre.

LOVED IT!

Any additional comments?

I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book. I read it first and then bought the audio book. Olivia writes the characters so well. I fell in love with Myrna and Brian. Humorous and sexy. I love the whole band aspect and it is written so well. The narration is awesome. I will listen to this again and again. Absolutely loved it.

Finally a book with the kind of kinky sex I can get behind! story was great but the big climax of the bad was a little disappointing I was waiting for her to get her or kidnapped something but no. other then that it was good little long but good.

Great Book, Great Series

Would you listen to Backstage Pass again? Why?

I have already listened to this book several times. The characters and story line kept my interest.

Any additional comments?

Each book focuses on one member of the band and is told from that person's perspective. The books should be read in order as the books build upon each other and cover some previous story line but told from another character's perspective. By the end of the series, I felt that I really knew these people. For some unknown reason, books 1,2,3, and 5 are currently available. Book 4 has an August 2013 release date.

reverse yoko ono

the narrator sucks, but you get used to her. The story is riveting and all about a reverse yoko ono situation.

Great book

Haven’t finished yet, but this book is cute, sweet, and funny. Didn’t expect to like it since I’m not big on the rock star/backstage storylines but glad I took the chance. Female character is independent and intelligent and the male character is thoughtful and kind. Hope this momentum keeps up.
