Publisher's summary

Max, the stranded Earth pilot, and Rick, his tentacled partner in love, are forced to return to a universe that dismisses Rick as an asymmetrical, loud outcast. But Rick hasn't told Max the whole story. Max wants to live in a universe where his children and his lover are respected and given a chance to shine. He doesn't know the odds are stacked against them. Max is going to have to catch up fast if he wants to win a battle that is less about weapons than manipulating the rest of the universe into being fair.

To protect his sweet, belchy partner in love and their three offspring, Max will change the universe, one stubborn alien at a time, and he might have to start with the one he loves.

Enjoyable from beginning to end. Wonderful series.

Sweet, funny, romantic, hot, imaginative, thrilling and even deep in so many ways. Narration was a great match. Only an excellent narration could bring all subtleties to life. Can't wait for a continuation to these two amazing books.

Love this series.

Great second book to the series. Catching up with Max and the gang was funny, sweet, loving. Following the kids growing up in the antics that they all get up to was a real hoot. I really hope we have more coming.

Heartwarming and just as sexy!

I loved the first book so shockingly much (I never would have guessed I would, had I known anything about it) and I adored this almost as much.

So sexy and beautiful and heartwarming. I actually shed a few emotional tears. Absolutely perfect! I guess nothing is impossible and an excellent writer can make any topic and couple beloved and wonderful.

I love this series

This book takes place a few months after the ending of the first book & you really need to read that one first. Max is settling in to the day to day life aboard their ship & keeping an eye on the kids. When Rick tells him that he needs to sell the navigation problem as they are very low on funds, Rick has to admit that his "people" are not treated fairly. He can either try to sell it through an intermediary for a loss or through his home world. When Max finds out how much he would be ripped-off, he hatches a plan to get a better deal. Of course things don't always go as planned. A surprise pops up that I didn't see coming & we get our wedding between Rick & Max. The ending also leads you to believe that there is going to be another book & I can't wait

Fantastic!

Earth Husbands are Odd is a great second book in the Earth Fathers series. This series needs to be read in order otherwise the reader will be confused, but believe me, this series is worth it. I highly recommend it. I found Max to be hilarious, and I loved learning more about this three alien children and husband. The world building is fantastic with such rich details and fascinating alien societies/customs.

John Solo does an amazing job with the narration. I loved listening to him and felt completely enthralled by the story.

Love this series

This has been a fantastic set of books. Not as complicated or deep as I feel most books are, but it’s a beautiful story and lots of fresh and enjoyable “adult” scenes. I’ve never found a romantic interest so perfect… and it’s an octopus of all things. Lol

Great story

I loved the character building and would love to see how the family grows up. Also curious to the storyline of who gets to visit Earth or that ship has passed.
