Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Alexandra Ivy proves her powers to terrify and titillate in a thrilling novel of pure romantic suspense, as a serial murderer with a kill list stalks the women of a small town in Wisconsin. His victims' bodies are left naked in the snow with nothing but a red scarf around their necks - his sinister calling card.

If You're on His List
A woman's naked body is discovered, cold and pale as the surrounding snow - except for the crimson scarf around her neck. The weeks that follow bring more victims and evidence of a terrifying pattern. The killer has a list. And every woman on it will get what she deserves....

You're as Good
Dr. Lynne Gale followed in her father's footsteps to become a vet in Pike, Wisconsin. For years, she's had little contact with Kir Jansen, son of the town's late sheriff. Suddenly he's back, insisting that Lynne's in danger. She can't believe anyone would target her, but someone is hunting the women of Pike, savoring every last moment.

As Dead
Kir hoped that his father's frantic calls about a serial killer were just an old man's delusions. But the body count doesn't lie. In this quiet town, a monster stalks and kills. And soon, Lynne's will be the last name on his list....

Don’t Look

Don’t Look by Alexandra Ivy
1st book in the Pike, Wisconsin series. Contemporary romantic suspense.
A serial killer is threatening Pike, WI and has provided a list of who will be next.
Crimson blood in the snow is the tag line of the killer. A vivid picture. Kir believes he has the list of impending victims but he will do what he can to save Lynne.

Suspense driven story that racks up the bodies while the current sheriff leaves most of the investigation to Kir and Lynne.
Tense and gripping.

🎧 The audiobook is narrated by Jim Frangione. I enjoyed the performance and believe he did a good job with voice variations and keeping the suspense tight.

Villain Plain as Day

I knew who the villain was quite early in the story. But, not being positive, I stuck with it. Entertaining enough but not an earth-shattering mystery. Sometimes I could not tell if the narrator was being a male or female with the voice they have.

Doofus people

My goodness this Vet had some good qualities but she was mostly naive and just plain on lame. I kept wanting to smack her upside her head. Could have been a great story if the author hadn’t made the characters so ridiculously dumb that was hard to like them.
