Great book

Great continuation of story
This could've been one book. Nevertheless, it picked up pretty much where it left off. So, didn't have to wait as long for the excitement to begin. Couple of plot twist, kinda saw them coming, but still good. Nice HEA. Narration was good. Same FMC narration, but different MMC narration. He performed well, his voice was great, just can't do female voice, that's why it should've been duet narration. Nonetheless, story was interesting.

good performances by the narrators that made the books worth listening to. in Book 2, the action picks up a bit. i wish there would have been more conflict in actually dealing with her dad. hoping Lucas has his own story.

Love it but…
Yes, totally worth a credit. But…
There are two things never really sorted out.
First: the man actually sell women on auctions. That is called trafficking! After book 1 this is never again brought up. In maffia books the non hero usually stays away from trafficking and this made me feel very queasy.
Second: the fact that our MH is crazy and unnecessary controlling isn’t resolved in any way.
Still, absolutely worth a credit.
