Great series so far
I like Baileigh Higgins and this series is part of the reason why. Rise of the Undead is starting off good. It follows different people and what they go through to get through the apocalypse. Kristen James does a fine job as narrator. I will continue with the next in line.

Enjoyable zombie series with a few caveats…
Overall I really enjoyed listening to this zombie apocalypse series of six books. The characters we’re interesting, and the story itself had many twists and turns. I enjoy zombies, especially stories written by women that have both strong female and male characters. There was the odd strange turn of phrase or word usage, but it didn’t bother me much. As for the narration, some of the voices were well done (Dylan, Saul) and some were horrible (Tara, Amanda). Overall I recommend this series if you are into zombies!

A Decent Zombie Series
I am not convinced this is the most well-thought-out Zombie Event, but the character-building and general storyline is entertaining. The narrator is very solid, and that is huge when it comes to Audiobooks. Some very quality books/series are ruined by poor narration, which isn't the case here. I would recommend this to those people who enjoy the Zombie Genre.

A fresh look at zombies
I really liked the story and the narrator. It's hard to have a fresh take on an oft-written about subject. This book focuses less on the world and more on the people immediately near each other and how they are impacted.

Not Higgins Best
This was an okay series. Higgins Dangerous Days was more developed with a better narrator. The lead female was not very likable, the relationships were not clearly developed, and the 16 year old Amy acted and sounded like she was 7. It was good enough to listen while working on house projects but I would not re-listen or recommend the series.
