Good story.

It's a decent story. Not in my top anything but it's solid.
Dude getting screwed over and framed by a corrupt politician and system and then transported to another world was a great start.
Now the MC is the Dark Lord of the dark god and he and the god are good and the light god and its followers are their nemesis.
The MC takes the high priestess of the dark god,that brought him to this world, as his 1st wife and she gets turned into a sexy monster woman by the dark god to start out his harem.
They are going to change this world for the better but they need to do it in secret or the light god's followers are going to crush them with hatred and overwhelming force.
The narration by Renée Nolen is good but she really needs to refer to a pronunciation guide. SOOOOOOOO many mispronounced words. And it wasn't just mispronouncing one or two words over and over. It seemed like a plethora of words that were mispronounced.
This is a good story and I'm really looking forward to book 2 of the series.

It was a great read, with an interesting twist.
I enjoyed the book and it's a worthy listen. Now we just have to see where book 2 takes us.

Great starting point

So, I wasn't so sure about this book at first. I thought the beginning was just meh at best. I kept going and stayed with it anyway (I've learned not to give up on books too early) and was rewarded several chapters later. The author then puts it all together to give us a plot worth listening to. I actually went back to my "meh" beginning to make sure I had the story correct. After that the book really starts to move at a nice pace, not too rushed and not to slow. Let's call it Goldilocks pacing cause it's just right.

I enjoyed the book and it's a worthy listen. Now we just have to see where book 2 takes us.

pretty solid start

although a little slow starting for my liking this first book was a pretty solid start. the narration was good also. I'll penalty check out the second one.

a twist on the Isekai formula

the book is a different take to the Isekai formula. what if the summoned wast the hero but the dark lord.
highly recommend

I really like this series

Although it does have some mature content it is pretty mild. The story is well written and the performance was great.

Amazing start!

Well written tale from a bad guys POV for once. Great world building and heat! The narrator is great too!

Another great listen

It comes out of the gate swinging. The characters are easy to distinguish and easy to like. Good book looking forward to the next one
