Annoying narrator
Not a bad story, if you get it for free. Really didn't like the narrator though. He emphasizes the last word of every sentence, like every sentence is proclamation. Not the worst narration, but pretty annoying, and detracts from the story.

This was my first bug horror and it didn't disappoint. Big time action throughout and solid character development for a shorter book. Highly reccomend.

Enjoyable enough to finish
I liked it and especially the book I tried before it I couldn’t get even to chapter 5 so it was nice to get into a fun creature gore fest. Felt robotic in the reading at first which is why the score wasn’t higher.

Bonkers and creepy right from the start.
Its eerie and often paranoia inducing descriptions are amazingly written. It does get a tad gross but without ever overstepping the line.

Great story
A great mix of thrill, grossout, and humor. The humor is dry and almost subtle, not to distract from the horror in any way. The horror is creepy and gross. And the story is just fun.

it's a good story
honestly, I went into it with low expectations and finished it within 2 days. it's a really fun story that definitely surprised me. I really enjoyed it if you like horror especially gorey details, give it a shot.

the narrator sounds like an AI
I love the solution to the problem being something non conventional . the characters are very relatable. I do hope there is a follow up story
