This was a very enjoyable book, full of action, suspense and intrigue. It’s was steamy AF and the D/s relationship was realistic and titillating. Fantastic dystopian romance
Jennifer Bene, you never cease to amaze me. I started listening to this book without any idea of what the story was about. Knowing Jennifer's mastery of dark romance, I thought that the story was headed in one direction at the beginning and then it went into a totally different one. My, what a rollercoaster ride of adventure and emotions. Phee is a strong woman and joins Bryant in his quest for justice. This isn't going to be an easy journey. Bryant and Phee's romance quickly escalates and there are a great deal of explosive love scenes. The narrator does an amazing job of portraying the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book.
