Didn’t want to DNF…

The introduction to the book was strong and kept my attention. However, the male narrator was very monotone and I couldn’t feel or hear the character be brought to life!! Later on, I felt that there was too much going on in the book to keep my attention, I almost pressed stop and started another book. It was an extreme slow burn but it was also rushed at the end. Then you’re left with a cliffhanger…

Interesting

Love the book.
Story line is interesting

The lady narrator does great male narrator very blah.

Ugh…I just can’t

First, the male narrator is reading in a monotone voice rather than voice acting. The female narrator did a good job though.

Next, slow doesn’t even describe how slow the burn is. I mean, slow…snail-sloth slow burn. I wasn’t even sure there was a burn for the first half of this book!

The big adventure for the better part of the story was where Bella’s sister disappeared to and her nasty attitude while Bella was responsible for her.

The last maybe 10 minutes were sort of exciting, but definitely not enough for me to suffer through more hours in a second book. Just no. Certainly not as good as the Makarova Bratva duet. I can’t say enough good things about those two books!

I can’t even with the male narrator. I thought it would be a manly voice. Never been disappointed in an audio book until now. The female narrator was good though

Nonstop!

Every chapter is an on the edge of your seat experience. Couldn’t put it down for one moment. Excellent read.

Great Bratva romance!! Falling in love with the underdog and taking care of them. Go get it asap

Frustrating

The story line is good, however the female character is the worst. She’s whinny weak and dumb. Which is extremely frustrating! It’s even worst when the male character try to mimic the female voice. For the male character to be Russian he don’t sound close to it.

Bella is so stupid

She is the most annoying main character. Her decisions make no sense and it becomes very frustrating to listen to. I won’t get the next book because it seems the pattern continues. I did liked Nikolai character.

Good story so far but..

This story was a good start but I agree with the other reviews about Belle. She became very annoying.

Belle is a complete idiot 🤦🏽‍♀️

I hate to be brutally honest but the main female character isn’t just naive, Belle is a complete moron. At first, I could justify some of her mistakes due to her age or sheltered upbringing. However, around chapter fifty-one I could not tolerate her gullible personality. She makes numerous mistakes that could of been avoided by a small child. Spoiler Alert‼️ Getting in a random car while pregnant with your lover’s ex driving a hundred miles an hour isn’t a good idea…obviously! Or getting pregnant by a stranger/mob boss that you slept with on an airplane SMH 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏽‍♀️ Her idiotic behavior kept me entertained so it was worth the credit.
