Warning ⚠️ This book🎧is full of triggers too many to mention them all, if you’re a sensitive reader you should pass! This is book#2 of the series and it’s good but not great. It has a good storyline but it was too angsty for my liking…If the author would’ve disclosed what triggers were going to happen I could’ve made an informed decision to purchase this book. The one redeeming factor they get married, have a baby with a HEA. Is it worth the credit? For me if I had all the information beforehand I would not buy the book. If you’re okay with all that’s mentioned you should definitely go for it!

Very enjoyable

This is my second Michelle Heard book. I found it very difficult to buy into the idea of a mafia “finishing school” on neutral ground where young people from every mob on the planet mix it up together. It’s not even a little bit realistic. But, it is definitely a refreshing setting that allows for a good story. For some reason I found myself frequently distracted by the less believable aspects of the story. I think a slightly faster pace would’ve prevented that. Still, the characters were likable and the romance was sweet and heartfelt. I really enjoyed it once I decided to view it as a mafia fantasy instead of a dark romance. However, be aware there’s a big trigger that’s central to the plot. So be sure to check out the author’s trigger warnings before you listen.

Family love and hate!

I loved the story line. The characters had me absorbed as if I was actually in the story along with them!

I absolutely loved this book!! Even better than the first! The characters were perfect and story kept me hooked the whole way!

Another home run!

This had it all. The sassing, the alpha male, the horrifying angst, the tenderness, to the re-building of an undying love. Nothing could stop this HEA. Will go into my favorites to re-listen over and over again.

Another amazing listen...

The narrorators were absolutely great. Duncan does a great Russian voice. The story, what can I say, it's Michelle Heard and all of her books have been fabulous. I highly recommend them all.

A Rare 5 Star From Me

I usually don’t give a full 5 stars; but thinking back over this story, I can’t think of a single negative. Great characters, great story, great ending.

Fantastic

Wow. This was really well written. At times this story was hard to listen to, due to some difficult topics, but I think Michelle Heard did a wonderful job telling this story. It moved at a satisfying pace and has really well developed characters. I would recommend reading the other books in this series that come before this one, in order to understand who these characters are. This one is definitely worth a credit.
Ooooo! I can’t wait for the next one to come out!

From the characters to the emotions. This book was so captivating I couldn’t put it down. I now need every book written by this author!
