It was a winner.

All three books were good in their own way. Not too many bad boys walk away and fewer return, but these three charmers were worth the wait for sure. Definitely tugged at my heartstrings a couple times. It’s a set I would listen to again.

A beautifully heartfelt series

These narrators never fail to impress, so I knew I didn’t have to worry about that. The stories were beautiful and deep, the characters with so much depth. Books 1 & 3 earned 4 stars from me, book 2 was a solid 5. I was absolutely hooked to Ian & Grace’s story and didn’t want it to end. Another winning series from A.L. Jackson!

He wanted better, more for her. She thought he abandoned her. the love story was good, but I really like the bits of who done it thrown in. I love how all the story seems finished, no loose ends.
I just love the male narrorators voice. the southern draw to the female voice needed a little work, but it wasn't horrible. I also wasn't crazy how either spoke for the daughter, but it wasn't bad enough to make me drop a star.

I swear, every time I think it can't get better, it does. I loved how the drama Ms me feel connected to the characters. the angst in the characters' desire for love need for love. the twist and turn. It's such a great story

the most tears. the best couple. the best kids. I loved this story in my soul. I love the little nicknames. I love the narrorators. I wanted more. I wasn't ready for this series to end.
