SPECTACULAR

My favorite was Hero. This book kept me interested from the beginning to the end. I was captivated by the characters. I will continue with this author's series. All of the books were good.

4/5

I listened to 4 of the 5 books in this bundle. It’s a great deal: 5 books for the price of one.

A Stone in the Sea — super boring. I only finished it because I started it. It wasn’t my kind of book. It dragged on and then ends on a cliff hanger from what I remember of it. The very end is where it got good. Maybe in the future I’ll read the books that follow, but probably not for fear of the boringness of it.

On My Way to You - I loved this book. It was 5 stars from me. Kandi Steiner is great. I’ve listened to a few of her books and will continue to do so.

Intention — I also enjoyed this book a lot. It was playful and fun

Hero — I really liked this book too. Heartbreaking but ends with a HEA, which I love. I would give this book 4 stars and the performance 3 stars. The female narrator was good at the sad parts but not with the intimate parts. It seemed like she was uncomfortable with those parts based on her lack of emotion while reading.

I didn’t listen to the last book because so many people gave that book bad reviews and didn’t want to find myself in another stone in the sea situation.

I liked most of them

I actually loved that the first book made me go look for the others in that series. Andi and Sebastian are my favorite duo for narrating! The second book was really good! I love anything Shane narrates. The third book was a good story but I had a tough time with the narrator. She didn't have inflection in her reading. I pushed through though because of the storyline. I really liked the next book Hero...I was crying and laughing. Loved the siblings nicknames! The last book lost me within 5 minutes. That narrators voice was TERRIBLE! He sounded like a complete creeper. I wonder if authors get to choose who reads their books and how this guy was given the job!? ick..

Almost Perfect!

I would have given five stars for everything but the last book was a little difficult for me with the narration, female voice. The story had some hiccups in it but overall a great story. I'm a truck driver and listen all night! Thank you authors and audible, you keep me awake and alive on the road!!

Bundles

These bundles by different authors are a great way to find other authors you might like. A Stone In The Sea by A L Jackson is the
first book in her Bleeding Stars series, the best series ever. Love, love
This author.
On The Way To You by Kandi Steiner is a heart breaking story
beautifully written and perfectly delivered in the narration.
The other stories are ok to good just not my faves

mostly interesting

I enjoyed most of this collection with the exception of The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister...
1) Narrator performance: Charley spit vitriol like a poisonous spitting snake with dyspnea, and Tor has a lovely baritone, but his performance was somnolent and didn't suspend belief in a Yale frat boy/Peter Pan turned millionaire tycoon overcoming the frigid/immature/latent sex kitten/creator of a successful dating program using obscurely non sequitur tests.
2) There was no building empathy for the primary characters. The plot premise could have been interesting, but lacked depth and humanity. I felt the story was 2 dimensional, stereotypical, objectifying, and disappointing.
