Publisher's summary

I'll admit I've never had grandiose plans for my future.

I'm really more of a "take it as it comes" sort of dude. But making minimum wage at a small-town sandwich shop wasn't exactly what I had in mind after college graduation either. It may not be an exciting life, but it isn't so bad. At least I have my amazing coworkers and friends who always try to make the workday fun.

Everyone, that is, except the new guy, Simon.

That guy is not fun. He's broody and silent, but I can tell that something interesting is brewing just under his surface. Day after day, I try to get his attention, try to coax him out of his shell. He won't even look at me, let alone talk. It's making me a little crazy if I'm honest.

I don't even know why I care—I'm not gay. But there's just something about him that draws me in. He's become this mystery that I need to unravel.

Until one night, I get a small peek behind Simon's mask—a shared kiss, just a minute in time, and then it's gone.

I don't even know what to think. All I know is I need more.

I want all the hidden parts of him.

I don't understand this obsession, this need.

And I'm afraid that there isn't much I wouldn't do for just a minute more.

“You’re my dream”

(Includes spoilers!) Really liked this one! My heart melted when Wes introduced Simon as more than a friend to his entire family , that was so brave :’) It was very mature of Wes to give Simon time to heal so that their relationship will work out in the long run.

Great story, great performance

I'm A fan of romance novels featuring a mysterious love interest and you don't know what's going on in their minds when they engage with the main character. Just as Westley was going crazy trying to figure out Simon so was I! I liked how in the beginning both MMCs were aimless and working at a dead end job (well we find out Simon's reason later...lol) but by the end each were working towards a better future. "A Minute More" had echoes of another Rose hit "Whit" but I still enjoyed just as much.....definitely due to the excellent performers Tim Paige and Kirt Graves. Great start to a new series...

4 stars - worthy of a repeat listen

Sweet and spicy

I love Wes and Simon’s sweet story. Tim Paige tends to have a soothing, melodic voice, too, and I listen to most of the audiobooks he narrates. The character of Wes is kind of a dopey, sweet guy, whose personality is made even more endearing by Simon’s juxtaposing character. I loved how Wes accepted his attraction to Simon so quickly, and how any queer fear evaporated because Simon was more important than any social dictation of Wes’s sexuality. Both MC’s were adorable and endearing. I highly recommend this listen.
