SO GOOD!

This
Book.
The blurb hooked me...
But, once I actually read the story I was line and sinker...
Then just when I thought the story couldn’t get any better...the icing on top of this amazingly delicious cake is Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas. They made this story COME ALIVE in ways I never imagined with their narration. Voices so smooth.
Suspense, intrigue, lies...so many LIESSS. Secrets, betrayal.
Becca Steele had my heart racing with the anticipation of what was coming next.
What is it about a guy who’s a total jerk to you that makes you want them more?? The Four was a force to be reckoned with and they all had that something about them that made them all undeniably addictive...but Caiden?? GEEZUS, I salivated for him.
I need more of him like now, RIGHT NOW. That cliffhanger left me in shambles and I need the next installment of Caiden and Winter’s story like yesterday.

I'm Hooked!

I really did enjoy this book. It's very dark and not my usual style. I feel the need to say that this book ends on a cliffhanger. I'm lucky and already have four books in the series. I have been able to start the second book immediately. Just something to keep in mind if you get as invested in the story as I did.

Really good story and characters!

I really enjoyed this story especially the strong female lead. All characters we're well drawn and I feel like I got to know them all personally. There is mystery element to the story as well and that was surprisingly well crafted. I purchased the 2nd story in the series immediately after finishing the 1st.

Amazing

This was my first book read by the author and oh my god did she pull me right in. I love the Four and the mystery surrounding them. The author did a great job at setting the mood and building these characters.

Fantastic story

At first I thought I wasn’t going to complete it because did the narration, but then I got used to it and loved it. Great character development and great story. I love the bully theme. Mr. Salinas has a hot a hell voice for this book. Yes it ends on a cliff but damn I can’t wait to hear the next one. Highly recommend this book

Bully Romance

This was a really intriguing bully romance. I loved the banter between Winter and the guys. The steam was high! They all had fantastic chemistry. There’s some intrigue and mystery that kept me interested.
The cliffhanger ending though! Oh my goodness!

Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas were fantastic narrators. They truly brought the story to life.
I can’t wait for the next one

UGH...cliffhanger

This is the first book I've read/listen to by Becca Steele. This is definitely one to listen to again once all the audiobooks are done. The worse part is that it's a brutal cliffhanger!! UGH! I will be hunting down the books. The book is well written with a great storyline. I loved the characters. They did take some time to grow on me, but The Four most definitely caught my attention. Caiden and Winter have a long way to go, but their beginning was heart stopping! The mystery part of this book is anguish producing. Cannot wait for the next audiobook!

Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas were excellent narrators. They had this book running like a movie in my head. easy to listen to with great performances.

Finally, a college romance story done right.

I'll start with the negatives and then end with the positives.

I had to overlook some things in order to go on with the story:
The insta-lust, jealousy à la Twilight/Fifty Shades of Grey's push (lies) and pull (sizzling attraction) game going on. The h is way too jumpy and unaware of her surroundings it seems. She's caught in the H's web and can't seem to stay away, despite the bullying.

I didn't appreciate the double-standard where guys can go through girls for self-gratification and toss them away, but when the girl decides to have some fun via a one-night stand, she's automatically labelled a 'whore.' I did like how our heroine isn't a virgin to begin with because it is the 21st century, after all. That innocent meets sinful, ex-virgin turned sex pro trope is so overdone.

The narration was good, but I wasn't particularly wowed. There's a difference between reading perfectly, versus letting go, and embodying the characters through voice acting. Production-wise, please see [26. Winter] 07:04:18, 07:04:23, and 07:04:26. The same line is repeated three times!

Great story, with the mystery and sleuthing going on. I'm actually rooting for Winter! Caiden's other bros were pretty cool too. I kinda wish this were an RH though --that scene where they cornered her with kisses at the abandoned castle was so hot.

So I've had a taste of the lies and the secrecy. And now? I want more.
You can't just end this on a cliffhanger and not have the next audiobook available! D:
You hear that Becca, give us readers what we want!
