not too bad, but I'm not thrilled with a few bits

So, some might feel differently, but I wasn't thrilled with this one. I did think the other stories were pretty fun and decent, but the first location, not trying to spoil, could've used a lot more time and effort. There were also some easy bits for the characters. I have other stuff that isn't so colorful in the scheme of things, but overall, not too bad.

J. P. Rice Delivers Another Excellent Book

The book leaves with a major cliff hanger but not in a bad way. it just makes you think, how is he going to get out of this. the performance is great. If you have read the other books in the series you do not want to miss this one.

Fantasy and fantastic

I cannot get enough of this awesome series Pnr, action, fantasy, addictive story line and so good you're not going to want to stop. Looking forward to discovering more books by JP.

Very good

This was a very good listen. This is a very fast paced story with a lot of action, suspense and drama. The narrator does a great job voicing each character so that you know who is who.

I received this book for free for a honest review. I loved the story line and the characters. The author did a fabulous job of keeping the me interested. The gods and goddesses had such personalities. The narrator did great at changing voices for characters. Highly reccomend

Entertaining and fast paced

Action packed story from the start. Mike is evolving into adulthood and fatherhood. He is a master at at being the underdog who somehow always comes out on top with a wing and a prayer or is that blind luck?!? The story is interesting and entertaining and adds to the overall story arc. The narrator did a nice job with the different voices. Pauses between sentences was a bit slower than I prefer but at a speed of 1.75x was just right. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

If it weren't for bad luck...

Mike Merlino is a wonderful guardian, but he just can't catch a break! In this 3rd book his one mission turns into a web of plot twits that make this an action packed book. He can't help but always think of the greater good even at risk to himself. I enjoyed getting some more character development and learned more about some of the other characters. A tie in with its sister series helped put thing into a better timeline. can't wait for book 4!!
