The fictional Admiral Janitorial Services has a problem: employees are leaving in droves, and they don't know what to do about it. Interpreting a series of employee surveys, the general manager comes up with a solution that walks the "thin line between genius and madness": hire a "dream manager", part life coach and part financial adviser, to help employees achieve their dreams.
For example, one woman dreams of buying her first home, while one man hopes to find more time to spend with his family. In an unexpected twist, the dream manager even helps employees find new jobs when they no longer have room to grow in their current ones.
In The Dream Manager, best-selling author Matthew Kelly teaches employers how to bridge the gap between their employees' current jobs and the futures they dream of, making them happier and more loyal to the company. Complete with a section on tools to get you going, this inspiring audiobook teaches an important lesson about self-fulfillment that applies both to the workplace and to life outside of it.

The 4 Disciplines of Execution
Narrator was fine.
Powerful premise - teams are the sum of the members - members are more motivated and likely to succeed by tying in to their individual dream.
After laying out a powerful premise the book is painfully short on specifics and quite frankly seemed like a novel on how the author wished the world to be. It felt sort of like "a cure to cancer is important ... let's cure cancer ... skeptical researchers got together and after talking about initial obstacles >>> poof! <<< cancer was cured!". The book was supposedly a compilation of real cases. Why not delve more into real issues and show us more on real life obstacles and challenges?
The story does a good job of explaining why my bussiness has been successful. I feel like any one managing a bussiness from 2015 forward needs to concider the prospective of this book.
I am the mother of three grown children. I own a horse ranch and enjoy listening to Mystery/Suspense novels and Personal Development books.
I like the way it is read

I found this book to be really interesting how this company found the ability to inspire so many people to acheive their goals. I wish more/all companies would adopt this way of doing things. Unfortunately, most companies don't understand that the happier their employees are the better they do.
What a great story and reminder of the power of interest in other people. After listening to this book I will be buying several copies and handing them out to clients/partners/friends who I know would benefit. I hope you enjoy!
This book is by far the read of the century.
I have been telling people for a long time it's not all about money. I struggled with defining why it's not all about money that keeps people; the book has enlightened me in so many ways so that I can now define what I was attempting to express.
