The fictional Admiral Janitorial Services has a problem: employees are leaving in droves, and they don't know what to do about it. Interpreting a series of employee surveys, the general manager comes up with a solution that walks the "thin line between genius and madness": hire a "dream manager", part life coach and part financial adviser, to help employees achieve their dreams.
For example, one woman dreams of buying her first home, while one man hopes to find more time to spend with his family. In an unexpected twist, the dream manager even helps employees find new jobs when they no longer have room to grow in their current ones.
In The Dream Manager, best-selling author Matthew Kelly teaches employers how to bridge the gap between their employees' current jobs and the futures they dream of, making them happier and more loyal to the company. Complete with a section on tools to get you going, this inspiring audiobook teaches an important lesson about self-fulfillment that applies both to the workplace and to life outside of it.

The 4 Disciplines of Execution
Narrator was fine.
Powerful premise - teams are the sum of the members - members are more motivated and likely to succeed by tying in to their individual dream.
After laying out a powerful premise the book is painfully short on specifics and quite frankly seemed like a novel on how the author wished the world to be. It felt sort of like "a cure to cancer is important ... let's cure cancer ... skeptical researchers got together and after talking about initial obstacles >>> poof! <<< cancer was cured!". The book was supposedly a compilation of real cases. Why not delve more into real issues and show us more on real life obstacles and challenges?
excellent ways to create employee engagement, and make lives better. I give it my highest recommendation.
A short and powerful read. I believe it captures the essential essence of the successful contract between employees and employers with practical instruction for implementation. I look forward to living and sharing the concepts.
Loved it Great story! Really changed my thinking! Help me begin to think outside the box and begin dreaming
If your wanting to learn how to bring out the best in people, business or personal, this book is a great place to start. I'm starting a dream journal and will be communicating with my friends differently from here on out.
this book was an amazing read. I truly wish my company felt this way about its employees. I feel enthusiastic about facilitating some changes on a smaller scale in own department. highly recommended for anyone feeling disengaged from their job. well done.
Thank you for your insight to go where most people don't, dreaming. So many people don't know how to see dreams come to fruition and you gave people a method to make it happen. Love the story format and the process & details at the end! Great book! Recommending it to friends & colleagues!
The story does a good job of explaining why my bussiness has been successful. I feel like any one managing a bussiness from 2015 forward needs to concider the prospective of this book.
I am the mother of three grown children. I own a horse ranch and enjoy listening to Mystery/Suspense novels and Personal Development books.
I like the way it is read

I found this book to be really interesting how this company found the ability to inspire so many people to acheive their goals. I wish more/all companies would adopt this way of doing things. Unfortunately, most companies don't understand that the happier their employees are the better they do.
