Using the no-nonsense, results-oriented boot-camp approach, Brodow drills listeners on the basic skills needed to master the art of negotiation.
With a wealth of examples from real-life encounters, Brodow demonstrates how to negotiate for things most listeners never knew were negotiable. He reveals how to develop the skills and the confidence we need to negotiate successfully and achieve our goals at work and in our personal lives.

"His tips are clearly laid out and easy to follow....there's something for everyone in this practical guide." (Booklist)
As a young entrepreneur, who engages in negotiation every day, I highly recommend this book. Great concepts that are so basic in a negotiation are put in to easy listening/reading format. The narration is good but the content is what is best.
A Must-Read for everyone involved in sales and commercial activities, or just for everyone who would like to improve its hability to negotiate anything!
The reading was very active and energetic.
I have had the pleasure of reaching out to the author to thank him for the great job. This audio book has made me money and has also made me standout respectively among my peers. It has allowed me to interact with people differently and more efficiently. YOU HAVE TO ADD THIS TO YOUR COLLECTION. If you do what he says...you will eventually be a better person. I listen to this audio book at least once a month to make sure, that what I have learned stays fresh in my mind. When I first bought the abridged version I listened to it every day for a month straight. This man knows his stuff. GET IT. It will change your point of view and your life. It will make you confident. If you're in sales or customer service this will increase your intelligence 10 fold. BUY IT...USE A CREDIT...BUT GET IT. I've been in sales for 15 years and I have learned more in this audio book than my entire sales career. When I listened to this audio book I realized...I didn't know sh**
I wish I had read this a long time ago. After listening to this audio book I immediately knew my mistakes and how to negotiate better. Thanks to the advice here, I never settle for "sticker" price.
I recommend this book.
I would suspect a novice might enjoy it more than anyone who knows anything about negotiation.
The narrator did a fine job.
I hate to give bad reviews because I can appreciate the work that goes into writing and publishing a book. That said, this book is terrible and I hate to think that novices to negotiation would read this and think themselves equipped to negotiate. This book is full of meaningless platitudes with little, if any direction of what to do. The only thing worse than the platitudes was terrible advice such as "try to negotiate the bill for services". To be sure, you can try to negotiate the cost of services with you attorney, accountant, or contractor after the service is complete. Even if you get a smaller bill you will likely ruin a professional relationship and if you do it a couple times you will get the reputation for this type of behavior. The only reason I'm not giving this book 0 stars is that there are a couple bits and pieces of decent information. The information isn't new or unique, you can find it in any other book on negotiation, but at least they are present here. If you want a better book on negotiation try "Negotiation Genius" by Deepak Malholtra and Max Bazerman.
Da buenas ideas
Le falta un poco de energia al lector, aveces como que aburre su tonalidad
Buen libro para poder analizar situaciones e ir mejor preparado a una negociacion
