The key to his success? Confidence - informed, intelligent, calculated confidence. Calculated confidence means training yourself in your chosen field, knowing it so well that you can trust your gut instincts to guide you toward the best possible option. When key opportunities present themselves, you are ready to seize them.
In It's Your Move, one of the stars of Bravo's hit TV series Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles shares invaluable and street-smart strategies for how to build your confidence, establish your reputation, master the knowledge you need to succeed, take the right risks, and course correct when you make a mistake. The guy is a great success and shows that in America anyone who has determination can succeed and I respect him for that.
The book is just the story of him getting there.
Surprised, Intellectual, Usable
Surprised, on how well thought out it was and it has usable information in real life situations.
Clear, cut, concise
Good Job Josh!
I definitely recommend this book not only to people aspiring to work in real estate, but to anyone who's ready to make their next move and has some kind of fear holding them back. Josh pretty much tells it like it is, without sugarcoating anything, that way it needs to be told to make people realize they are capable of doing anything.
This is more of a testament to his personal hubris rather than a useful business book. I tried to open my mind up to learning but his vanity overshadowed his skill at sharing useful ideas.
I decided to grab this read, since I watch the show, but I, myself am about to jump into the real estate world.
I listened to it nonstop for about 4 days. Loved the message and content. What I loved most, was he didn't give you fluff. It was straight to the point truths.
Definitely would recommend to others even if not in the real estate realm. This book reaches across all faucets of life and business.
I like Josh. But I wasn't expecting this book to be as honest and inspiring as it was. And I actually learned things actionable things and concepts that I can use in my own business. Awesome book. Relevant stories. No boring moments. Definitely a keeper.
This was an easy listen. Josh narrates well and it is an interesting, gentle, motivation to be self confident.
If you are looking for insider tips, etc., you won't find them here. This is strictly a bio/motivation book. I enjoyed it since it was well narrated and I did feel encouraged after listening.
Great job! Loved the narration, the story and how it's written. Josh congratulations, love your show and your character. Best, Agostino, real estate broker in Venice, Italy
