Great for every “nice guy”

For anyone struggling with bullies or self confidence this book is a great confidence builder because it demystifies what it takes to be a leader and influence yourself and others you care about without turning into a dirt bag.

Good foundation for anyone

This book is very foundational for me. I really like the examples used to illustrate the principles that were taught. I learn good methods to practice being an influencer and know how to let someone influence me when necessary. It really helps even with learning to negotiate.
The narrator did an awesome job reading the book, good vocal variation, and good understanding of the material being read. Well done.

Good, useful info in a digestible format

I appreciated this lecture series. It covered theory, influence techniques, negotiation, and transformational leadership, and was illuminated with references to studies and real-world applications. I intend listen to this series again in the future.

Great listen, lots of advice!

Good advice to be an ethical influencer, leader, and negotiator. Also covers how to resist unethical influence attempts from others. Ignore the low star reviews from disgruntled dodgy sales people who didn't like being called unethical and having some of their tricks exposed.

Goes well with Cialdini's Influence.

Some unfair reviews to be in mind

Many people complained about it being bad because it talks down salespersons. Not really true. the books isn't great for other reasons, like the simplicity of most of the information given. it is not really bashing a group of people. I think it worth listening once, and moving on to the next. There are some good notes to be taken from this book.
