A must have guide

What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Find Your Dream Job?

I work as a waiter in a nearby restaurant, climbing on the career ladder is almost impossible and the wage is very low. I purchased this audiobook because I was attracted with the title and because I badly want a different job. Thanks to this audiobook I discovered how to choose the best career path based on my personal experience and qualities. And there are also some useful tips on how to search for new job opportunities and how to prepare for an interview. I applied for about 10 jobs last last week and had 6 callbacks, resulting in 3 scheduled interviews. I highly recommend this audiobook to all the job seekers.

Not really. As it's non fiction I found it easier to dip in and out when I had spare time.

Finding a job is not an easy job. I know this from my own experience. But finding a perfect job is even more difficult. That’s why I’ve found this “How to find your dream job” guide very valuable. It provides a lot of practical advice on how to find a perfect job and also, how to secure it. There are some tips about things that I have never considered before. With this guide you will learn everything about preparing your resume, preparing for the interview and a lot more! Overall, it’s a great informative guide that I recommend to everyone who is looking for a perfect job!

Finding the perfect job (and then passing the dreaded interview which has already been difficult for me) is not an easy thing to do, especially in todays job climate. I have read and listened to a few books in this genre but this is the first one that actually helped. Gave me some great and very valuable advice I was able to implement immediately. After listening to this book twice I found the whole job hunting process a LOT easier and smoother and I finally landed the job I always wanted, so, thanks to the author!

I will be totally honest and say i bought this book when drink and didn't listen to it for a month! But when i finally did, i was surprised at just how useful it was. Especially the advice on where to look outside the usual job market and how to approach and make connections etc. Very helpful

Very useful resource. Helped me with some good general advice and also some valuable info for dealing with nerves at interviews, what to say, what to wear etc.

Narration was good and I liked that the book was quite short, it got to the point pretty quickly.

Great Tips to Chart a New Course!

I was thoroughly impressed with this short guidebook as I move towards my true destiny. It was as if Ian could hear the conversations I've had with loved ones about wanting ti make a new start! I really enjoyed his candor and Phil Rybinski had just the right tone of voice to keep listening! It was over in a breeze and wished there was more!

Pick this one up of you're on the fence about getting out of a deadend job. I found so many great, new tools that I will definitely be using as I continue along on ny own journey. It was great to hear that someone else has faces the same hurdles as I have and it was great to hear that it won't last forever. Thanks, Ian!

Basic job hunting strategy book

Didn't go into any guidance strategies in finding a career that is right for you. This would be a good book for people new to job hunting.

So So

This book was so so. Maybe motivation is the key to everything, which I'm a bit part it is. However, I feel more "specific"
content would be in order. I will try some of his other books before passing opinion.
