This 2 in 1 book is a great one where I have learned a lot in one sitting. Habits can either be good or bad and although your personal day to day habit may seem insignificant,they actually play a huge role in your present life or future life. Practicing proper physical habits is what I will definitely apply in my day to day life. Once you have proper physical habits you live a healthy and successful life. Some of this physical habits include sleep,take care of your oral health, skin,heart and schedule yearly check ups with your doctor.
As for Self discipline, its an essential personal tool for success in any endeavor. You need will power to exert self control and you also need self control to exert will power. From this book I have learned how to control my negative urges and I am already noticing positive changes in my life such as better finances,positive attitude changes and am also more happy now. You need to have discipline in health,money,harmful substances,time management and others. Using will power,influence and discipline ,you can change this world and am planning on changing it and make it a better place to live in. I am now knowledgeable as I know great role models who have used this qualities to change the world. Some of them include Ralph Lauren,Frederick Douglass e.t.c. I would read this book over and over again. I really loved the great techniques I learned . I highly recommend!

This is another great book about changing your habits to make a better life for yourself. I like these books because with each one, you can find something new to think about. The suggestions can be applied to pretty much anyone, in any situation. You just have to motivate yourself to change so you can find the success you want. A lot of it does come down to self-discipline and being able to change when it's needed and for the right reasons. Self-discipline also helps in the workplace, where you need to be at your best at all times. I recommend this book to anyone who is in need of a boost to find the success they know they are destined for.
Yes I would. It has so much very good information in it, I'm afraid I might have missed something the first time around. I want to utilize all the information in the 2 book set so that i can better myself.
I liked many things, but what I liked most is that instead of dwelling on bad habits and how to break them (although there is information in the book to do just that), the book seemed more focused on how to develop good habits that will help you in life. There are many different good habits to choose from.
There are no characters as this is a nonfiction book, but Joshua Mackey puts on a great performance in what ever he does. He makes the words come to life and when you are reading a how to and nonfiction book that is really something. He makes every word interesting.
I liked the part in the self discipline book about influencing others and being influenced. It gave me great ideas on how to pursuade people to my way of thinking. It also explains how will power makes you powerful

This is a great audio book for anyone wanting to improve his or her life!
we all have a ton of little habits that we do, often without any thought. after listening to this, I am ny realizing that even the smallest habits can have a big impact on me overall! I think we all have times when we overlooked the little thjngs. Now it's easy to say your going to create better habits but not always as easy in practice. Pairing the habits piece with self discipline is great! These two segments are truly going to make a difference!
These audios where really great! I can't help but think that they should teach this in schools. The habit audio is filled with lots of great ideas for habits to form and it goes into great detail on how to form the habits and make them permanent. The self discipline section is the perfect compliment, explaining how to develop your self discipline and will power so that you can accomplish your goals. I found it very interesting to learn that will power is limited and all the things you can do to preserve it for what really matters. Everyone should listen to this at least once in their life.
Self-discipline is a difficult concept but when paired together with habit, it all seems to make a bit more sense. At least that's how I felt after listening to this great box set. I learned how to cultivate good habits and break free of old ones and how to use those habits to cultivate self-discipline. I feel like a new person. Great buy!
These two books belong together, since it takes self-discipline to build and maintain habits, and certain sustained habits can actually increase your self-discipline. From eating habits, to exercising and sleep, this book pretty much tackles it all. The self-discipline book points out things that undermine one's self-discipline, and provides positive alternatives that are easily implemented...daily until they have become habits! I listened to this two-book set over several settings, as I was getting ready for my day, and found them highly encouraging and inspirational. I'm going to start listening more to positive, motivational, life-giving audio books in the future; they really are helping me.

I am the kind of person that periodically sets extreme goals for myself mostly to overcome bad habits that I have established and so the combination of these two books really appealed to me.
I know that I have a lack of willpower and self discipline and that is what is stunting my progress in reaching a number of my goals. I found these books to be extremely motivating in overcoming this pattern of behaviour.
Not only does this book help you identify bad habits but helps you to establish good ones in their place and then in cultivating the self discipline to maintain them. This is a great set of books that work well together.

I’ve been seeking improvement for my bad habits and self-discipline so I decided to take a listen to this book from Ace McCloud. What a book it is, as I learnt so much over the 2 hours.
There are so many tips and strategies given here and they are all written in such a way that is straightforward and you can really see how they can help you.
The main chunk of the habit book is broken down into 6 handy sections. I really enjoyed and learnt a lot from the mental health and home productivity portions. Also impressive in this book is the part about breaking bad habits. This is must-listen material and so helpful/
The self-discipline book is tremendous. It teaches you so much, from how to build self-discipline to boosting your mood and willpower. A special mention is deserved for the narrator who I thought was tremendous.
"Self help to make or break any habit"
Habit is a clear and concise “how to” book that covers acres of ground and is useful if you’re struggling trying to change aspects of your life... either by establishing good (life affirming) habits, or by breaking bad (life diminishing) ones. I was very taken with the idea that there are keystone habits, which if we change, have a domino effect in bringing many positive changes into our lives; habits such as exercise, self-discipline and learning.
Self Discipline is a mighty book that offers oodles of motivational information in a compact form. I learned how to deal with issues of self discipline without becoming overwhelmed. The suggestions are practical and progress from beginning to success. I found the idea of focussing down on one (big) thing at a time and seeing it through to success, really useful as I often get overwhelmed by all that needs to change – and feel out of control. Equally, the idea that our actions are the outcome of what we have truly decided, so that if there is no new action, we have not yet decided to change.
