A reader of biographies, history, and other non-fiction
The author’s advice on marketing makes sense, but I found his audiobook a stressful listen, as his endless stories, spelled out in a host petty details really distracted from the message. It would have benefited from a much tighter re-write.
Super analysis of what makes things contagious. Clear principles. Very thought-provoking. Really gave me a baseline to analyzing my own products and how to make them go viral.
Jonah gives a truly fascinating set of examples to illustrate what are very actionable and thought provoking lessons. You will be inspired to look for the potential for vitality in your business.
I found that I could only listen to this book when I could take notes at the same time. The words and meanings just didn't stick in my head well enough and I ended up relistening to several chapters. That said, the content is very interesting...but you can get a lot of that from his YouTube playlist.
My career is in marketing so I loved this book but even if you're simply interested in marketing or psychology I think you will be very pleased that you listened to this extremely well presented book.
