Publisher's summary

Consciousness, teaches Fred Kofman, is the capacity to observe, choose, and act in accord with your values. And "conscious business" means using that ability at every level of your work: in being aware of the needs of others and expressing your own; in seeing the hidden emotional obstacles that may be holding your team back; in making good decisions under pressure; and even in delving into such "spiritual" questions as "Who am I?" and "What is my real purpose here?"

In Conscious Business, you'll join this visionary teacher and founder of Leading Learning Communities to master these skills.

TO GET CONSCIUS AS A PROCESS

One of the most inspiring works in my life. Fred is so humble and at the same time so wise and clear. If every person who is involved in an organization listen ed this material, the world would be a better place. On the one hand Fred gives the “know how” to achieve it, but in the other he is capable to light our souls to want to do it.

Phenomenal

This not only gave me concrete tools for improving my conscious communication within my corporation, but also addressed deeper issues surrounding integrity and identity.

Interesting but slow

Some of the concepts are interesting, but the book is very slow with lots of repetition. An okay read.

Recalling Virtue over Vice in life and business

Interesting reflections on what behaviors drive to vice and numbness and how to establish behaviors driving virtue and conciousness

Great book on being present

Love the fact that the book was read by the narrator! It really makes it unique. I personally found that increasing the speed to 1.25 was best

Personal Skills & Business Contribution

Conscious Business is more a series of seminars which are spoken by the author Fred Kaufman in a warm soothing tone. I work in IT for HP as a full time consultant to Cisco Systems. It may simply be the time in my life, or the business environment in which I find myself, but I found Fred's perspective remarkably moving and enlightening. Fred does a excellent job of identifying the personal skills required to work effectly in a business setting and goes on to provide a wealth of suggestions on how to develop those skills. Throughout the book he does a good job of keeping the lines of personal development and business contribution parallel, however, if I were to offer one reservation, I think he could have drove that relationship home more as he concluded the series. This is certainly the best business management book I have encountered, and I have read quite a few lately.

Difficult business

This booke has a lot of good and usefull information but it is difficult to listen to. Fred Kofman comes from Argentina and speaks vith a heavy spanish accent which makes this audiobook difficult to listen to. Sorry Fred but your book should have been read by an english speaking person.
