Wow!
The story didn't draw me in at the beginning and I almost returned the audiobook. The perspective of the story was new and a bit disturbing to me. Then the twists and turns began and it was hard to quit listening. The narrator did a great job with most of the story, but could have created better voices for the different characters. Overall, it was worth listening to and I'd recommend it.

Outstanding.
I love Houston and the descriptions in this novel make me miss it.

Fantastic!
This is one of the best books I've listen to this year. I run the gamut on several books but this one, the pacing of it and the details a fantastic thriller. I love the psychological dialogue in it and what drives people to do the things that they do. What is their hidden mission ? And do they recognize that sometimes life is futile. It is what is going to be

Very Dexteresque
It all begins with the transfer of Houston PD Detective John Druitt from Vice to Homicide…and his first case with Homicide…the discovery of the body of a prostitute. Or does it?? We quickly learn that the story is told from the POV of a serial killer…and Detective Druitt!! There are so many nuances to this story that you will not want to put it down! You’re torn between rooting for the killer or the good cops! The ending is fantastic!!
