Publisher's summary

Months after her battles in Wyoming, Allison "Lex" Luther is still struggling with the aftereffects of the psychic attack she suffered - and with the new developments in her own magic.

Then, Lex’s boss, the cardinal vampire of Colorado, passes along a strange request from her counterpart in Atlanta. Hundreds of Civil War spirits have abruptly vanished in Beau Calhoun’s territory, and he wants Lex to figure out why. In exchange, Beau can help her understand boundary magic, which runs in his family line as well.

Despite her trepidation, Lex journeys to the Deep South, where she discovers that ghosts are everywhere...and that her host’s intentions are more complicated than he promised. It seems his teenage descendant is being hunted, and both Beau and Lex fear the young woman’s boundary blood may have made her a target.

With Atlanta’s history looming over her every move, Lex will have to face Beau’s ghosts - and her own - to prevent a boundary magic attack she never dreamed possible.

i think this one is my favorite

Lex is good at fixing things and to just keep going. No matter what gets thrown at her. She has nightmares and struggles, but she is strong. This book she heals herself a little...I Love it. Goes to show a strong person with conviction to make things right can provail. I also love how they handle the threat this time. The end is amazing. Cannot wait to read the next one. I love this series!

The Best one yet

I enjoy this boundary magic book a lot . I think it may be the best yet . Good story, fun characters and the issue mentioned in the story were surprisingly relatable. Fun!

Love this series!

I really love this series and have enjoyed the narration throughout it. However, I was a bit put off by the change in narration for Tobias' voice. This book made him sound like a halfwhit cartoon dog. I prefer the way she did his voice in the last books.

a nice and sweet addition to the series

Lex grows as a character, meets new people and learns more of the world they live in...
not much to say this deep in the series, if you're still here enjoying it, keep going, otherwise, drop it already :)

Kate does a fine job narrating, not much to say here either :)

Great book and awesome narration..

Another enjoyable book about Lex and her friends, and enemies. This one took Lex to Atlanta where the vampire Beau Calhoun, who can see ghosts, is missing a lot of his ghosts and ask for Lex to come and see if she could figure out what happened. It was very interesting how the ghosts were vanishing and why.

For the fifth and final book it had a very disappointing ending. I mean, Lex could have been with her lover Quinn, at least. Instead she’s delivering a horse?

So, no sex and the F-bomb is used 33 times.

As to the narration: Kate Rudd… I could listen to her narrate every book I listen to. She’s that good.

What an awesome book!

I wasn’t sure at first, the pace seemed a little off, but once it got going-WOW! So good! Allison Luther ‘Lex’ still struggling with PTSD is sent to Atlanta to help Bo out with some ‘friends’ disappearances. However, all is not as it seems. When Lex is attacked then a bomb explodes killing one and injuring others the stakes are raised exponentially! Still struggling to discover who is behind everything, another bomb goes off and Lex is almost killed. Sometimes the it’s the last one you expect. The ending was Perfect!
