I loved this AudioBook

I loved this book so much, it dives deep into BPD. I grew up and have had friends with BPD and I always had a hard time understanding them. This audio book goes into why bpd is serious and how to support a loved one who may be battling with this disorder. After reading the book my friendships with people who have bpd in my life have been healthier. Id recommend this book for people battling bpd and for someone who has a friend or loved one with it.

Life Changing

I recently listened to the audiobook "Borderlines The Essential Guide to Understanding and Living with Complex Borderline Personality Disorder. Know Yourself. Love Yourself, and Let Others Love You" by Siena Da Silva, and I must say that it was an incredibly informative and thought-provoking listen.

As someone who has a personal interest in mental health, I found the book to be a fascinating exploration of the latest scientific research on borderline personality disorder (BPD), a complex and often misunderstood mental illness. Siena does an excellent job of explaining the various biological and neurological factors that contribute to the development of BPD, as well as the various treatments that are currently available.

One of the things that I appreciated most about the book was the way that Siena balanced the scientific information with personal anecdotes and stories from people who have lived with BPD. This added a human element to the discussion and helped to illustrate the real impact that BPD can have on people's lives.

Overall, I highly recommend "Borderline" to anyone who is interested in learning more about borderline personality disorder or mental health. It's a well-written, engaging, and thought-provoking book that will leave you with a deeper understanding of this complex and often misunderstood disorder.

So helpful

I don’t have BPD, but I DO have PTSD which causes a lot of similar symptoms. The hardest thing for me has been the impact it’s had in my relationships, esp with my husband and kid. They’re the last people in the world I want to hurt, but they’re the ones who suffer the brunt of my emotional/behavioral issues and outbursts. I’m already doing all the right things to help myself, but adding books (this one in particular!) to the mix has helped a lot, too. This book touches A LOT on the subject of navigating mental health issues when you have a family, and how to maintain and strengthen relationships you have with the people who deal with your issues the most (aka. your family). The book discusses a whole-person (and whole-family) approach, rather than focusing solely on symptoms, to help you not only survive BPD, but THRIVE!!!
